It’s been a long time since I sailed on the Dream so I have a few questions. How’s the internet on the ship? Is there a pkg you can buy? Does anyone know the cost of the DisneyBands? Do I need a passport to go to the VI? Thanks for any help!

Can't speak to internet quality but there are a variety of packages available.
MagicBands cost $35-55 depending on styles.
You do not need a passport for a closed loop cruise, but everyone will tell you that you should have one anyway.

Internet starts at $26 per person per day for length of cruise. The higher tier started at $40 per person per day for length of cruise. It worked well enough.

You need a MagicBand+ for it to work on DCL... If you do not sail DCL frequently I would skip it unless you are also visiting the parks.

Passport is not required but always wise to have.

A grandma here...I had a magic band from the parks and stopped using it during my December cruise as it is a pain in the neck, in my opinion, for charging drinks as you cannot simply scan it. I read that the ships are trying to update to portable scanners in restaurants, etc but not there yet.

Here are the two internet packages. If you buy for the length of cruise you get a discount. I paid $22 a day for length of cruise. It worked well for what I wanted, Facebook, Tik Tok, emails, etc...
