Are the Dream FPs being handed out as part of the YOMD good for only one rider on each attraction? Or would they get a family of four a ride on the FP attractions? I suppose it would not be such a big deal for us (although I would be appropriately gracious in receiving it :teeth: ), so I would pass it along immediately if only good for one rider.

From what has been said, it looks like just one rider and not a full family.

So, lets see, ONE person in a family of 4 gets it, does that mean the other 3 go get fastpass of thier own, and the one with the FREE Fastpass rides in thier time frame? :confused3

While Im sure some may benefit from this, I think that's a joke if only 1 person in a family can get a FP. I mean at least 2 people should get it so even if it's a family of four, 2 can go together.

When we were there we saw entire families with them around their necks. I heard when they are awarded your entire party does have to be present. So if Mom is over getting drinks and Dad and 2 kids are chosen, the 3 that are there at the time get them.
That's just what we noticed. I can't imagine Disney only picking ONE person in a fmaily to give them to. That would not make much sense at all.

One dream pass is only valid for one person is what people have been saying, but more than likely if the family is together, they'd all end up with a dream pass based on whats been reported by trip reports etc.

The Dream Fastpass are generally given out in bulk at the distirbution area. Usually anywhere from 10-100 are given out at one time, so the only way your entire family would not get one is if you are the last one to be given one in the "bulk" group and the rest of your family is still behind you. If you advise the Dream Squad CM that this is the rest of your group, they will accomodate them...they will NOT get a Dream Fastpass as they are only allowed to give out the allotted number for that time and place, but they have other options to accomodate those in your party that may not have been within in the prize peramiter. Does that make sense?

As mentioned your family has to be physically there in order for them to accomodate the situation, they can not be in Fantasyland when you win on Main Street.

Thanks for supplying some details, folks. There are some times when we split up since both kids have a couple of rides they won't do. I was just curious since, other than those times, we are a "one for all; all for one" family at WDW.

I really hope they do give for the whole family. It just wouldn't be right for 1 person to go on while the other person just waits for them to do all those rides w/o waiting. I'm going with my boyfriend and 3 yr. old daughter this December. I would probably give it away too if one of us just got one.
