Dream Fast Passes

Can someone tell me how, exactly the Dream Fast Passes work (if you are lucky enough to get one, that is)?

it gives you a fast pass for every right that has a fast pass. . . AND say you were only on a one park ticket and one this, you now have a park hopper. . .

we have won them a few times and it is great to have all your fast passes together. . in fact when we do win whatever other fast passes we have collected, say soarin over california, we always find somone toward the end of the line or getting a fast pass and give them those. . . so we pass the dreaming along so to speak

So a Dream Fast Pass allows you to collect Fast Passes on as many rides that have them all at one time? So do you use the Dream Fast Pass to get the fast passes instead of your park ticket?

The dream fast pass is, in itself, all the fastpasses you need - you don't need to collect them. It is one fastpass per ride. There are little tabs on a big plastic card that you wear on a lanyard. Each tab is for a specific ride, and you give that to the fastpass collection people - while wearing your lanyard/plastic card.

If you have the dream fastpass you can still collect regular fastpasses as you normally would (but they're not necesary to go on once). If you only desire to go on the ride once (with the DFP tab), you don't have to wait for any specific time like you would with a regular fastpass.

so with the dream fastpass you can go on any fp ride when ever you want? I am assuming just once for each FP ride? but then you can also still collect another reg. FP for that same ride if you choose to? Is it for just that day or is it for every day you hold a ticket for?

Yes, you can only ride each FP ride once with a Dream Fastpass.

...And, yes, you can still collect another regular FP for a ride using your park ticket.

A Dream Fastpass is only good for the day you receive it.

how do you get one?

if youre lucky you'll run into cast meembers who are handing them out. their often at the exits of rides. however dont focus you're whole trip on finding them. youre more likely to just randomly run into them. theres no routine to where they go, so if you hear that they were somewhere earlier in the day, dont think that that means they will or wont be there later. you really just never know
