Dream/Fantasy Room 8006

I stayed in 8006 and it was wonderfulalong with being very spacious. This room is in the front of the ship whenever you pull into or leave port the room will shake a little bit from the bow thrusters.

Picture of the bed foldied down. The sofa also converts into a bed on the other side of the room.

...we sailed in 8006 on the Fantasy and would not hesitate to book it again. The extra floor space was Fantastic! :cool1:

We sailed in 8006 on the Fantasy in January and loved the size of the room so much that we are booked in both corner rooms on the Fantasy for next August.

I stayed in this room in Dec 2013 on the Dream. It is a walk , but the spacious of the room makes up for it. You are going to love it. Enjoy your cruise.

Just booked this room. Anybody have any issues with the fact that there is no privacy curtain?

We have stayed in this room and in 8504 (same layout) and love it. It was just my husband and I each time so we didn't miss the privacy curtain at all. It has a nice cozy feel with the slanted ceiling. Love all the extra floor space. The porthole is on an angle and looks out over the bow of the ship.

Does anyone know if this room has a regular tub or one of those circular ones?

On our first cruise we had 7006on the dream. While the room was huge which was great we weren’t to thrilled with the view and window itself. It was hard to look out. You to duck under the window to look out of. It was rather on the small size so the room seemed dark. I’m pretty sure the tub was rectangular. Sorry to be negative the size of the room was great the window was the downfall

We sailed in 7502 along the front of the ship also!

I am a Verandah person through and through but I would take the chance to sail in any of the rooms at the front of the ship without thinking twice! The rooms are oversized and really comfortable. We had our traveling companions over a lot because of the extra entertaining space.

2 great things:
1. The beds face sideways instead of forwards/backwards so the rocking motion was very soothing (almost like being in a hammock).
2. Because it is off the beaten path, traditionally the only people that would pass by that area or are walking around in the halls have their rooms there.

I would jump at the chance to book one of these rooms again.

PS: The tubs will most likely be regular. From my understanding, the circular tubs are only found in the Family Verandahs/Oceanviews

Has anyone stayed in Room 8006 or 8504 recently that has more pictures? Does it have a split bathroom? We have stayed in 8004 in the past and loved it - we just booked 8006 for later next year.

From My experiences onboard, the only rooms that do not have split bathrooms are Handicap accessible with roll in shower and the Standard Inside staterooms. All others should have the split.
