Dream Dinners

I managed a meal preparation kitchen for 8 months. The concept is awesome and I still get my meals every month-DH still works there, but I do two sessions. His employee session for the family, and a session for my lunches. I've lost a lot of weight eating the meals and want that to continue.

No, most places don't want you to have the recipes because they want you to come back. That said, we would inform when we used certain recipes (Tavern on the Green's meatloaf, the local Junior Leagues Asian Pork Tenderloin)

Most places change the menu every month so you can have some variety. That said, if something is a huge hit with your family, LET THEM KNOW!!! We repeated favorites regularly because our clients told us what they liked.

If you're on the fence and the price is giving you pause, do one session. You'll love that someone else cleans up for you, does all the prep work for you and you can make the meal the way you want it. In the evening, you spend less time in the kitchen. Most meals can be cooked in the pan you made it in, so less clean up! I you're at a loss what to serve with it, you'll probably find serving suggestions on your cooking label or the kitchen's website.

Thanks for everyone's info! :thumbsup2

Jenz...regarding the open house on Wednesday:
You do not need to register for the Open House on Wednesday. You can come anytime between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m, at your convenience. This is an informational session, you will not be preparing meals. We will be doing demonstrations, providing some meals for you to sample, giving you information about how it all works, and offering you the opportunity to register to come back and assemble meals for yourself.
Also looked at Super Suppers more closely...they have walk in days where there are NO minimums!
If your typical day is unpredictable, you might feel unable to schedule and keep a specific appointment for a session. Don’t worry. We’ve got walk-in days for your convenience.

Check your local Super Suppers’ calendar for the next walk-in day, and stop in as your schedule allows.

After all, if you’re too busy to schedule a session with Super Suppers, we’re just what you need to eliminate some stress and save precious time.

*Note: Please bring a cooler or laundry basket to transport your meals home.
Also, they have grab n go...they keep already assembled meals on hand for you to walk in and buy.
For the busiest of times when you can’t even schedule a session or pre-order your food, we have pre-assembled entrées, sides and desserts. Just walk into your local Super Suppers and quickly purchase meals from our Grab n’ Go freezer.

You can still bring home an entire meal of healthy, delicious food to home-cook when you have no time at all.

*Note: Please bring a cooler or laundry basket to transport your meals home.

Hi fellow Rhode Islanders! Just wanted to let you know that I've done both Dream Dinners (in Milford) and Super Suppers in Lincoln and we MUCH prefer Super Suppers. Let me know if you have any questions!

I have a question about the super suppers. We have one in Exton, PA. I just looked at the website. It says 6 entree's for $132.00, do the entree's include whole meals or do you need to do sides for each? It seemed super inexpensive so thats why I was wondering.

According to the website, you can purchase side dishes for an additional charge.

I did Super Suppers on Saturday :thumbsup2 I got a free meal too.
We did 12 dinners, plus a side of mashed potatoes, plus I ordered the meatballs for a super bowl party and it came to $245.

I really enjoyed it. I was a bit concerned about the freeze dried diced chicken but I was reassured by the staff.
The place was hopping!! It was very clean, cheery, they had refreshments, and the staff was very helpful.

I had the cranberry bbq meatballs last night and they were excellent. DH is a scrooge and he enjoyed the experience. My only complaint was the work tables were too small. No big deal - I'll just have them make it for me next time.

Thanks for the review Jenn! :thumbsup2

I went to the Open House last night at Dream Dinners. Lovely place (altho I too wondered about the size of the workspaces, and how it is when there are lots of people actually putting meals together), super friendly people. We tasted the herbed flank steak (delicious) and the coconut chicken, which I thought was "ok". My friend and I were the last to leave, and there were a bunch of leftovers, so we got small containers of those two items to take home to test on the family. No one in the family seems to like coconut in general, so that's out. DH LOVED the flank steak, and his interest is piqued, so my friend and I will be working out a time to go and really try it out.

BUT...also want to try Super Suppers. Great location for me, and I love the "drop in" days idea.

We did the Dr Pepper flank steak at Super Suppers, which I've been told is very good. I think I'll make it this week.

Soooo....follow up a month later? Did anybody go for the first time and how did you like it?

I just went to Dream Dinners today for their March menu. Got some good stuff! And we had pecan crusted pork chops from the Feb menu tonight. Yummy!
