Dream - August 29, 2013 - 3 Night Bahamian Cruise

I have my outfits laid out but havent packed yet. So thankful for tax free weekend, doing some cruise outfit shopping today and tomorrow.

Just back from a short trip to the beach. Cleaning and packing our snorkel gear and getting toiletries together. Won't get clothes done until a bit closer to time to go.

My early packing backfired on me yesterday. After not using his snorkeling gear at the pool all summer, DS decides he wants it yesterday..... Shortly after I had packed it up. Oh well!

Hi Everyone,
New to the threads, first time cruise with Disney-very excited! It will be our daughter's first birthday on embarkation day so excited for this as well. Curious, does anyone know what movies will be playing in the theater while on the cruise? I'm thinking we will spend lots of time there with the baby. Hoping to be able to catch "Planes" as we are all big "Cars" fans

A person on our Aug 25th cruise posted that he called DCL and the following movies will be playing:

Wreck It Ralph, Monsters University, Lone Ranger, Oz, Iron Man 3, Nemo in 3D, and Planes.

I must admit, I packed most of my thing a few weeks ago. Finished FE today and am very excited to give them out.

We leave for the World in just about 2 weeks so it is getting very real.

Hi Everyone! I am new to these boards and new to DCL... just spontaneously booked this 3 day cruise last week. It will my husband and myself with our 3 kids (girls 11 & 9 and son, 7). I am so excited. Trying to read as much as I can so we don't miss a thing!

One of the things I came across was creating FISH EXTENDERS for your doors? Do you have to be part of a group to participate? Obviously, I'm sure you can give items, but will the kids receive items if I am not listed with a group? Do you guys have a group or group(s) here that I am able to join if they need to be part of a group? I do apologize for the last minute request - but as I already mentioned, we just booked this. And really want the kids to enjoy every minute of their cruise!

Any tips are welcomed! Thanks all!

First time on Disney cruise. I've just found this forum via Pinterest. Had no idea about fish extenders but it sounds like such fun. I realize our family has missed the cut off but are there any others out there that missed the sign up as well and would like to do this? Just the hubby, myself, daughter (5) and neice (5). Rmbrig and lizellamummy, welcome! The official FE group has closed but I made a few extras little gifts and will be happy to include you in an exchange.

I am traveling with my mom, teen nephew and 6 yr old niece. Our family has two staterooms but if you want to exchange with us, you can just use stateroom 8000. Rmbrig, please post your stateroom and anyone else who wants to expand the FE can let you know what stateroom they are in.

We are all very excited! We leave for WDW in just over a week now!

We will also be on this cruise. I'll also do a FE with the last two posters. That makes a total of 3 of us. Just my husband and I. We are in stateroom 8640. Donald and Sonya. We needed this break. My DH just got a new boss and life has been crazy in the house this summer. So a much needed break for just the 2 of us. We can't wait. I did my packing list yesterday and found it difficult to not drag out the suitcases and start packing. I hope we have beautiful sunshine weather. My DH is going scuba diving at Stuarts Cove. I sit on deck and soak up the rays, hopefully holding me all winter.

It's up to each stateroom. Some folks do a little something each day, some just do one the first or the last day. It up to you.

Your husband will love the shark dive! I did one on Nassau years ago with Nassau scuba center, which is closed now. Take a dive camera if he has one, great photos on that dive! Our son still has four years before he can dive so we're doing the dolphin swim at Blue Lagoon and some snorkeling instead.
