My DH can pick out his stuff in 5 minutes, shorts, shoes, shirts, bathsuit and he's done.

My DH is the same...never packs extra shorts...I always have atleast 2 extra outfits. On our last trip I packed 2 sweatshirts but bought three when I got to WDW..lol

We are going to be in WDW the week after the cruise so we have that to pack too.

It is tough thinking of all the stuff you need.

Hey Jen! My husband packs the same way. I usually pack extra stuff for him. This is a good thing i do because one year he forgot socks and i had packed 4 pairs we had to do whites once but it is a good thing i did pack some stuff for him. We are also going to DW the wk after. We are staying off property @ Sheratons Vistana. I hate over packing since their are five of us and not alot of space to put things but atleast the under the bed room is alot larger now on the dream so i might leave a suitcase unpacked underneath if i have to. their is a packing list somewhere onthe boards that really does help. See ya soon!

Hi Jen - should I say good morning So glad you are awake and with us!
Ladies - do NOT trust your DH with packing! If I don't check what my DH prepared to be packed, I will end up shopping instead of resting by the pool It takes him 5 min, and he is ready. But then my questions come: did you take your dress shoes? No. Did you take your rain jacket? No. What about a dress shirt? No, but "do I need it it" Did you take your sunglasses? O, right, will do right now.. etc, etc., etc......

Yes, I did PM to you and John. I even emailed to John. I've not heard from them. (

Sorry, but I just re-checked my PM box - no message. It's great you posted here - I will add it to John's spreadsheet on FB.

I just remembered one of my dreams last night - we were on a cruise and I forgot to pack our Fish Extender (which is still in making ). But then I stopped panicking and just attached an old grocery bag to the "fish". I have to pack our FE first!

and this is my philosophy, lol: as you said "just to be prepared", and that is why I ALWAYS overpack.

Maybe that's why my dh packs so light, my stuff is taking all the room in the luggage

This is our first cruise so i'm just learning what to pack. Do they have laundry at WDW? I'd be lost trying to pack for that long

I just found my "bathroom supplies" list. Remember - DCL has great shampoo, conditioner and body wash; I have it on my list bs we have lots of sensitivities to perfumes/chemical scents. Hopefully, it is helpful to others:BATHROOM SUPPLIES LIST:

Shampoo (plus clarifying shampoo for after pool)
Conditioner

Shower cap
Body wash

Deodorant (for each grown up)
Face Cream
Vaseline

Make up
Eye make up remover
Make up remover pads
Q-tips
Eye brow twitters (did I spell it right?)
Panty liners

Hair brush
Hair styling (gel, styling spray, etc.)

Toothpaste
Toothbrushes
Tongue cleaner
Mouth wash
Floss

Shavers (male/female)
Shaving cream
After shave

Air freshener
After sun cream

Nail pile /scissors
Nail polish remover
Nail polish

Their bath products are really nice, you can even buy them on amazon. I am only bringing a 3 ounce shampoo/condition and will use the stuff on the ship. You do need to ask for refills. They have body wash also.

We are flying in and staying at the Hyatt MCO. My kids loved it there last time, haha.. the funny things that they fall in love with and talk about over and over after a vacation is over!

Thats great! Do you take a bus from the hotel to the ship also?

Yes we are taking the bus. We are also doing the 4/10 cruise though, so we will be at the hyatt on the 9th, and head to the first leg of our back to back cruise on the 10th. Getting a rental car is cheaper, but the bus is much more convenient and less work for me since my husband isn't cruising with us.

that would be great if we know a little ahead of time as I plan to make some homemade stuffs for FE. My concern is the numbers of kids and adults. Yikes....
