It seems a lot of you are doing a back to back cruise. Sounds like fun!

I'm hoping I just make it through this one without vertigo!

Last 7 day we took I got vertigo so bad I had to get off the ship

This will be our 4th DC...but we are going to AKL after the cruise to relax.

I love WDW in the spring!

I still need to print out my magnets for the door...so excited!

Hey Jen! My husband packs the same way. I usually pack extra stuff for him. This is a good thing i do because one year he forgot socks and i had packed 4 pairs we had to do whites once but it is a good thing i did pack some stuff for him. We are also going to DW the wk after. We are staying off property @ Sheratons Vistana. I hate over packing since their are five of us and not alot of space to put things but atleast the under the bed room is alot larger now on the dream so i might leave a suitcase unpacked underneath if i have to. their is a packing list somewhere onthe boards that really does help. We have stayed at Vistana before, very nice your first time there? We are DVC members so we are always on property now. best money we ever spent!
We are going to the AKL after the trip. My DD is 12 also, they should meet in the club.... Last cruise my DH forgot to pack dress socks...so he had to wear his sport white ones with his dress pants...lol Good thing we couldn't see them in the picture. I would have been to the store paying $50 for a new pair..lol

Go to your DR. and ask for something for motion sickness befor the cruise. I have a friend that does this. Make sur it is NON drowsey. I know some drug stores cell things like a bracelet and stuff. We only felt like this once but not that bad. I used what ever first aid had on the ship and it went away and it was free.

Yes i do. Go to the top of this page click on plannig in the RED section and abox will come out scroll down to PACKING. I hope this helps. It always does me and i have done this 4 other times lol.

I have found too the bonine works as good as the prescription stuff. My brother(and MD) says to take it at night and just take it every night regardless if you are sea sick or not. Also you can give the kids 1/2 tab, they are chewable.

Thanks for the info, I have tried the patch (didn't work) dramamine works best for me. I actually start taking it ahead of time so I can get used to the drowseyness...lol

I also have the bracelets, the first night is normally the worst...so hopefully I can wait it out...

It is a short trip so I'm hoping it will all be good. I can't believe we are only 30 days away....wow..seems like we booked this so long ago.

Got my DD three new bathing suits this weekend preparing for the trip. I guess we should start packing...

It is getting so close to our cruise!
Also, some of us will start their first part of cruising on April 10th, leaving their home even earlier.
Let's set up final date to join our FE gift exchange. I would suggest this week Sunday, 3/20/11. Hopefully, it will still be enough time for everyone to prepare.
Thus, anybody who is thinking of joining - please post! Up until the end of this week, everyone can still join!

Does anyone have a daughter that is age 19 or 20 that will be on our DC? My daughter was asking and i couldn't recall. I guess she just doesn't wanna be alone ,since she is to old for the teen clubs and to young to drink.

I can't believe I just found this board! Our family will be on the 4/14 Dream too! There are five of us-- myself and my DH Joe with our two kiddos Samantha (5) and Daniel (4) with my mom. This is our first cruise with DCL. I can't tell you how excited we are! I just had to look up what a fish extender even was-- is it too late to get in on the fun?

Hi,

We were wondering if it's better to take the disney bus or a car to the port and also what is a good time to get there. We want to get to explore the ship before it leaves.

Also, does anyone know if it's easier to stay at the Orlando Airport Hotel or a hotel nearby the port?

Our DS is 20, but he is not joining us bs HIS spring break is .....RIGHT NOW. Don't worry, your DD will make friends - they have special "meets" for her age group
