Dream April 14,2011

I ended up paying $180 plus taxes for the way back, yuk. Guess I am spoiled by November $180-210 round trip. :) I almost took a connecting flight thru Delta that would have put me home two hours earlier(which I preferred) but feared there would be a problem with the connecting flight... so stuck with the Southwest direct. I have had good luck with southwest being ontime. Kinda glad it is just overwith. I do have a few hours to kill before heading to the airport so that is my new obsession. I hear you can get free Kennedy Space tickets... or maybe we will just drive to DTD and feel a little of disneyworld magic for a couple of hours.

I just booked my flight home and the tickets went down considerably!!!! I got them for $183...without any other stuff, so from $436 to 183 I thougth I better grab them, plus it a nonstop flight and we don't leave until after our lunch on that day:) Yahoo!!!....now, I will pray that Southwest takes over and we won't have to pay for our luggage:)

Marilyn, you still around?? This board is awfully slow. Well we are to the 6 month mark. Time sure if flying. We usually go to WDW in early November though and arent' this year and I am the one missing Mickey!!! Going thru withdrawal!! Our house deal fell thru.. but now we have another offer. My dad's nephew from Rhode Island. Strange, maybe my mom wanted him to have the house so we could all sit on the front porch together! My mom could always be seen sitting on the porch. Well just wanted to say hey!!

I am still here and planning:)It does seem far away especially since for the past 2 years I have gone in August! I just got back from the Women of Faith conference and it went from June to October...so, I am really off gilter....but, the weekend was awesome even tho I have a horrible cold..and I never get one so....but, that didn't stop me from going to WOF:)I have lots done and now that my whole family is going I have to really plan well....next Tuesday I can make our dining reservations so for that I am so excited:) However, my 4 year old DGD, has decided she would like to eat with Cinderella AND dance with Snow White....so....I have to figure that out as well. I ordered new luggage as neither I nor my daughter with the family has enough for the week..I have mine, but, my husband doesn't have any because he never goes anyplace....I mean for longer than 2-3 days...
Sorry your house deal fell thru, yes, your mom must have had her hand in that and the new one, she must think you need this one...I guess I am like your mom, I love my porch...thanks for checking in on me...have a good rest of your week...

The best place to be sure to see Cinderella is Cinderellas Royal Table. Pricey if you are not on the dining plan and even with the dining plan, you have to use 2 credits. They do get a wand and it is alot of fun. She is only in the lobby though, she doesn't come around to the tables, which I dont' like. We did see her once at the princess breakfast in Epcot, but that was a couple years ago. Snow white is also just in the parks. We have seen her in Magic Kingdom and in Epcot walking through the countries. So chances of dancing with her are pretty good. As it gets closer to the time, you can find out times where they are signing autographs and where. Not sure if I can post this here, but this will give you current times of most attractions. http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/ It is unofficial but pretty reliable for us in the past. He updates it weekly. They also give you a list of character greets and times as you enter each park. Occasionally you can hit Cinderella over in toontown too. The line can get long though so if you can do a couple character meals, it really saves on time standing waiting in the parks. A good time to go is very early when the park opens, during parades or close to when Toontown closes.

Signed the papers again on the house. HE is paying cash so it has an Oct 21-22nd closing. Holding my breath so we will see.

Are you doing anything special when the cruise stops in Nassau? I think for this cruise we will be going to Atlantis. Nothing definite though.

Hi friend, hope all goes well with the house. I wish I had cash to buy a house:) I am planning on character meals because I know the time we are at the parks will be extremely busy so I want to capitalize on time:) I think Mia will do BBB on our last full day and then we will have dinner at 1900 Park Fare, that is if I can get it when I call next Tuesday for ressies. Thanks for info regarding time frame from that site. I will check it out:) As for us getting off at Nassau, no, at least I am not, since it's my first cruise, I want to check everything out, who knows, I may want to go again:) I figure we are paying for alot of amenities so we may as well use them onboard..Do you have a confirmed cabin yet? I know we do, but, I don't have the paper nearby to check it out. We were on deck 10 and now, I think deck 7, since my husband is coming along..this will be so exciting..all 8 of us together for 1 family vacation:) GOD is GOOD:)

I just wanted to say Hello to everyone! I hope your all getting excited as our DC is getting closer. The time is flying with the kids back in school. I feel like i have so much to do ,maybe i should start now lol. Have we come up with a group name yet? I wanna start my magnets asap! We should vote soon. TTYL Have a wonderfall Fall day!!:cool1:

We have a room on deck 7 also, AFT but for our 4 night cruise before we are in guarantee status. They say if you are doing B2B they try to get you the same room, so I probably wont' know till a few weeks out officially where we are. I got upgraded last cruise, kind of surprised me since there were just the three of us. I just came across it one day when I was peeking at my reservation. My travel agent did notify me a few weeks later of it. So we will see..... The characters meals are great and what I like is most are buffets. I am not a buffet person but it works well for that type of situation. good luck getting the reservations you are wanting.

Tink, why dont' you pick a name?? since noone else has stepped up to the plate. I have to pass on the FE. Since daddy isn't coming, need to pack as light as I can. It was fun last cruise though.

Hi all,
I agree with you Amy, it's very slow here :confused3, though i have been checking it out daily, and yes, Crystal - please pick up a name from the choices/suggestions previously posted

Yelana, have you decided if you are doing Atlantis on both legs of the trip yet, specifically wondering about this 4/14 cruise? I am almost certain we are going to do Atlantis on the 15th. Still toying with the idea of doing the Sea Lion encounter on our 4 night 4/10 so that we can get back to the ship midday and enjoy the ship a bit.

At this time we have only managed to get a room at 250 rate for this leg of the cruise. Did you already cancel your room for 4/18? I didn't think about it much since I wasn't able to get good rate for the room for 4/18, but our friends are joining us on this part of the cruise and I think girls would love to do it again. Decisions, decisions....
Also, our DD is in Harry Potter now. She wants to go to US/ IOA "so so badly". I have to book a room now either prior to our cruise or after. Prices at US hotels are so high :headache: Once again, decisions, decisions :confused3.
Crystal - I didn't forget about you. We are taking you to our room, we just cant finalize our decision yet.

Yes, I did cancel for the 18th. I am actually hoping I can use my choice privelege points as it gets closer. I have enough from our summer travels to get a free night. My kids haven't even touched a Harry Potter book yet. Initially I had thought we would try univeral too as we had never been there, but then we decided to B2B. I am definitely going to do Atlantis on the 15th. We will have our day at sea on the 13th and change day on the 14th so we should be very rested up. I plan on getting off as soon as we can and spending most of the day. Last time we tuckered out around 4ish, but didn't end up leaving till closer to 5.

Did anybody go on this tour on your previous trips? Is it a good one? Any tips/info would be great! I was thinking of doing it in the morning and then just go to the Paradise beach at Atlantis during our second part of the cruise.

Amy, Marilyn, and Crystal - are we the only ones left here?:confused3
I will volunteer to make a list of FE participants. Those who are interested, please post.
:wizard:

I am still here, it looks like we are the "ones" :) I won't be doing FE, I do know that...Maybe we will have the whole ship...nah, not possible to ourselves...it is early...5 months and 20 days and so many hours:)

I think we are :confused3 and it is quite boring. :rotfl: My April 10th board is super slow too! I keep peeking at the 17th board even though I had to cancel that one. We are not doing the FE either, it just took up way too much space last time in our suitcases and that is difficult since daddy isn't with us. I guess the rest of the people aren't obsessive like we are.

Hello,

I have just signed up for this thread...my family will be on this cruise also, DH, Me and our DD 12.

This will be our 4th Disney Cruise, after this trip we are spending the week in WDW for Easter break. :cool1:

Even though I'm on this reservation I have until January to change my mind. Last trip I took I had to get off at Key West due to Vertigo...my DH and DD took their last cruise without me :guilty:

I'm hoping with this ship being a larger one it will be okay. Anyone else have a child in the 12ish range? On our last cruise my DD was able to talk via email to some new found friends which made the tween center better since she had already met a friend.

Hi Jen and welcome !!! :cheer2:
There are so many remedies for vertigo. Did you try any? The key is to take prior to sailing. I saw many people with patches and they said it worked great! I hope you would sail with us and would find smth that would work for you to prevent vertigo. :wizard:
Our DD is 9 (10) at the time of the cruise.
Let us know if you want to participate in Fish Extender exchange.
:grouphug:

:rotfl: I admit to my addiction. :cutie:
When I have a hard day at work (quite often:laughing:), I try to log in and check our threads just for a little bit of Disney fix :lmao:
Our DD and her friend who is joining us on 4/17 sailing are really excited to visit Ardastra Garden in Nassau, but I can not find reviews from people who did it on their own. The price for 3 of us would be $37(plus transportation if we need it) versus $126 via DCL. It is a big difference  If anybody knows anything, please post
