Welcome AquaSkeez & Loislane! Have you all sailed before? Who are you sailing with? Where are you from? We have a mixed bag of ages participating in this thread! And I think I speak for us all when I say we're all looking forward to this cruise! We do have some experienced Dream cruisers with us too.

This is going to be my 3rd disney cruise - having sailed on the Magic twice before - but my last one was in December of 2008 so it's been a while.

We just recently went to WDW with my family & some friends for a "reunion" type vacation last December. It was a great week but WAY more crowded than I expected!

Thanks jazzykirl. I would have loved to renew our vows on this cruise..but can't afford it since we are paying for everyone to join us....8 people in all. I did ask about a "wedding cake" and the DCL does not make wedding cakes unless you have the wedding or vow renewal package. They also do not allow specialty cakes in Palo, which is where I was hoping to have our group celebration. They said they can provide a cake...but not a wedding cake.

I am still looking forward to this cruise...since it is a first time for all of us.

First time cruiser!!! I booked the trip on the dream for my mom's 50th last year so we're celebrating her 51st 3 days before sail date along for the ride is my sister and a good friend so here's hoping for an amazing time!!

Sooo, this cake, can it be a special order cake? Meaning you can specify flavor, filling, frosting, etc? I was thinking of having my wedding cake re-created since it is our 5 yr anniversary, but we did not really have a traditional cake - we had chocolate with chocolate filling and chocolate frosting. The "decorations" were white chocolate starfish seashells, etc - we got married on the beach in the keys.

Hoepfully they can do this!!
