What's not to like? The chocolate souffle is wonderful!

HEY!!!!!!!!! Whose arm are you twisting to get chocolate souffle??!! SO good.... say, RPalace has a "vanilla" souffle. It was good. BUT not the chocolate one, nope, not at all... BUT very good...

What is the trick?! DH is celebrating his Bday that first night....

are those sugar or chocolate shells? or maybe vanilla sugar shells? oh - the possibilities are endless....

White Chocolate and the Brown starfish are Dark Chocolate. I am not a huge fan of either, but we did try some of them. The best part of the cake was the filling - it was sitting in the sun for a little while and was very soft...it was soooo good!

Thanks! I'm traveling with my dh, ds5, & dd4, plus my father, brother, his wife, and their two kids (5 & 7). Whew! It's our first Disney cruise and my kids' first cruise, my dh & I have done other cruise lines before. Anyone have tips for making a multi-generational cruise a success?

Anyone know if they'll be serving "Tea with Alice" for the kids on this cruise? I've read elsewhere that they only do it on longer cruises, but then I saw one post saying it happened on a 5-night, so I'm crossing my fingers.

We are one on as well - and the cousins are of fairly different ages as well. I think we're focussing on doing our own things, but meeting up for sure for dinner and shows.

As far as Tea with Alice, I never really looked into is as DD told me the other day she's kind of 'grown out of princesses.' uh oh

Oh & I hope so - DD and I had a lot of fun on the Magic cruise a few years ago having Tea with Alice & the Mad Hatter of course she was 5 at the time, but she's only 8 1/2 now so maybe she'll still be interested ??

We just did the Princess & Friends Tea on the Wonder for MR 7 night, and I think I wouldn't bother again. It was Snow White and Dopey and they had a cookie and apple juice for the tea. Just a few little things that they did and then it was a photo opp. My DD is 8 1/2 now, and was a bit bored. 3 years ago it would have been far more interesting. With all the mad rush to get tickets as soon as you board - and they did go fast, I would pass now.

Sooo, this cake, can it be a special order cake? Meaning you can specify flavor, filling, frosting, etc? I was thinking of having my wedding cake re-created since it is our 5 yr anniversary, but we did not really have a traditional cake - we had chocolate with chocolate filling and chocolate frosting. The "decorations" were white chocolate starfish seashells, etc - we got married on the beach in the keys.

Hoepfully they can do this!!

I sent them pictures of the cake I was interested in...nothing fancy or ornate. They said they could not accomodate custom orders and that the pastry chef will design something simple for us. There is a charge (around $51.00 for 12 people). The only choice I had was cake type and frosting type but nothing fancy.

They will not serve specialty cakes at Palo. Only in the main dining rooms.

Wow, I have lots of reading to catch up on. I joined the roll call early, but got busy with all kinds of other distractions like work, family, etc. We almost cancelled at the last minute as we tried to decide if our DS would rather wait one more year to turn 14 and have access to Vibe, but went ahead and finalized our commitment.

So glad to see lots of activity on the roll call. I'm also so looking forward to the fact that Cars 2 comes out while we're onboard. I've never gotten to premiere a movie while at sea.

Ok, no way! We are on this cruise together AND we are together next year too on the pirate cruise?????
How fun! We gotta make sure we meet up on this cruise.
I can say the pirates are the funnest group ever! My family and I decided no matter where the cruise went to or how much it costs- no way we were going to let them get together without us.
