We are not doing Palo this trip unless we can get a brunch when we get to the ship. This is supposed to be a family cruise so we don't want to desert everyone else just to do Palo.

Yeah I get that. We couldn't get brunch! hopefully we can book onboard and we are skipping Remy because I just feel like the cruise is too short.

I had a private birthday party with Mickey and Minnie for my daughter last November at Thanksgiving and they made a special cake for her birthday. I can't remember the guy I spoke with right now, but I will try and find out his name, he was the one who told me how to do it.

I can't wait til I cruise this time on the Dream! I'm so excited!!

I have a 6yo girl, but she doesn't write very well yet. She likes to draw and scribble though.

I checked the roll call thread on cruise critic -- that is even less active. It has a total of 9 posts, including one from me.

Well let's make it look like it's active then. I'm still working on my FE gifts and have not gotten a FE for our room together at all. Can I just use a white palstic garbage bag? Only Kidding. We'll figure something out.

We're also working on Pirate costumes. Hitting some thrift stores tonight and Joanne fabrics. It's bringing out the creative side in all of us. How detailed are your adult costumes?

Hi all! I have been MIA from this thread because my day to day life is CRAZY right now....I have a few questions and Im hoping the experts on this thread can help! Can anyone tell me the dining order for our cruise. Also, Is it true that my recently turned 11 year old son can participate in the Edge and visit the Oceaneer Lab if there is availability? Is it not possible to just register him in the Lab? His brother and good friend ages 9&10 will be in the lab? Also, where we do we go on the day of embarkation to try and secure a Palo reservation? I keep reading mixed reports. Thank you for any help!

Yes - I hate to break it to the world -- we're all over on Facebook chatting it up all day long and posting links...so come on over! it's really great because we can put faces to real life names which will really help with recognition on the ship....and - best part --- it's private!!!

I have never been into facebook, much, but with the cruise group it has been fun! I like my DIS, but the cruise group is neat.

Hopefully no one is going to yell at me for putting my stuff on a lounge chair on Facebook.

CAN I also make a confession... that just a few weeks ago, I FINALLY got the play on words with the 80s hair band, and the Motley "cruise" ??? -- I know I know I know... SAD doesn't even begin to describe it I was focused on the whole "Motley" meaning "mixed" idea. BIG DORK that I am... ANYhow... the countdown continues!!!

I'll try and help with what I can...

There is not one dining "order" per say.Every family has a different dining rotation and your server follows you from dining room to dining room. Here is some good info on what the themes and roations might be:

Not sure about the kids programs, we do not have any children yet.

In terms of palo, ask when you check in. I have had conflicting reports as well. I have heard in the d-lounge(I think that's the name) or at the Palo desk. I have also heard that after 3 you can call. I am going to confirm when I check in where I should go.

Hey Diane! Looking forward to seeing you! Ask this question on the FB group! I bet you can get an answer there... I seem to recall seeing a thread about this somewhere... about kid and the labs, etc.. you have an option to "register" the kids online when you do your online checkin... but that comes up based on age, so he may not show up that way. I would go ahead and try calling DCL, and then at the terminal ask when you register your younger one!

RE the dining rotations, that is on a "document" under the FB cruise group! I think someone made one.... or, just search the DCL thread, b/c I know there were posts about that earlier on... maybe even on this thread a few pages back!!! I think someone posted it!!!
