Looks like my DH, DB, Dsil, and myself will be joining you all!!!!
This will be mine and DH's first cruise EVER!! My bro and sis in law have done this cruise last year and they say it's THE best!!!!
I'm super excited!!![]()
My family and I will also be on this cruise! This is our FIRST Disney cruise and we are thrilled to experience the Dream....all the pictures and videos have us over the moon excited. Traveling will be myself (Diane), my DH Bryan and our 2 boys, ages 11 & 9!![]()
Hi Diane!!!
Question for everyone, the dumb question of the day..... again, our FIRST Disney cruise......... I was looking over all of the eateries available on board and my husband asked me "they are all free?" I answered him "yes" but then started thinking "I hope I'm right". So....... are all of the dining options (other than Palo and Remy) included, including Flo's cafe offerings, etc.? What ARE you charged for? If you get a pop at dinner, is that a charge? Are you only allowed water for meals without being charged? Thanks, June just can't get here fast enough!

Hello everyone...I hope my fellow northerners are staying warm..I know I can't stop dreaming of the warm bahamian weather we are going to have!
I was wondering if anyone emailed DCL yet to find out what our schedule was going to be (ie what night is formal, pirates, what night each show etc) I was going to do it, but thought I check in here first.![]()
You are right Lesley, Remy & PALO are the restaurants where you charged a surcharge. And you can order soft drinks at dinner at no additional charge - all of the other dining options (Mater's grill etc.) are free - or as we say "Part of the Package" b/c of course you are paying for it as part of your overall cruise cost

Thanks that is very helpful, can anyone elaborate more? How much alcohol can you bring on? How do you bring yours on? What about water?Hi, Leslie! To piggy back on what Robin said, soda and other choices (like at the resorts) during the day is also included -- provided you go to the drink stations on the ship deck. Room service or bar drinks (including non alcoholic) are charged... including bottled water, so that is why they offer that bottled water package for purchase, and beer can be purchased that way, in a package vs. singles at the bar.... We have never done this, brought our own, and they brought us water on ice from the bar whenever we asked... There isn't a charge for room service food, but I think there is a fee for using room service... I think... other than tip... I can't remember....
There are lots of options!

Just to throw in my experience - the last 2 times we were on the Magic (December 2008 & December 2007) we purchased our own case of water off-site & stuck a luggage tag on it & left it with our luggage curbside. For those who have cruised lately - can you still do this??
And for the alcohol part - we have a soft sided rolling cooler. We put warm beer & and fifth of Captain Morgan in that, NO ICE, and carried that on board with us. Drawback is of course it's warm.....and you have to lug it around with you until you can get to your stateroom - BUT on the plus side, your cabin steward will fill it up with ice if you ask (Keep it in the tub AND tip well) and then once it's empty you have another carry on bag now empty for all those newly purchased souvieneers!! We don't fly down with the alcohol (we live in Maryland). The towncar service that we use allows us one 30 minute stop - so we use that to stop off at a liquor store on our way to the Port.DH is not a wine drinker, so if I'm so inclined, I'll just have a glass with dinner (purchased at dinner).

I need major help....I have so many questions and I have found some answers but I'm hoping all the nice people on this thread can help answer some more of them!
1. What is the dress code for the 3 main dining restaurants?
2. If the kids dont want to eat with us and want to stay in the clubs, can they do that? Do they feed them there? Do we have to let someone at the restaurant know that the kids aren't coming?
3. Is there a pirate night? What does that mean?
4. Where do you eat breakfast and lunch?
5. What is open on the ship when the ship is in port?
6. Is the entertainment a rotation thing like the dining? Howmany different types of entertainment are there?
Again SO SORRY for all the questions but I am SO confused! Thanks!![]()
