Hey, Nana-Tink, we are also on the Nov. 27 cruise with you.

I am jealous! I'm hoping we'll be able to go on the Fantasy in 2012 - but my sub jobs will have to pick up for that. I'm kind of frustrated to hear that the deposit policy changed. For five of us, $250 each was much more feasible than putting down half of the total cruise bill - around $7,xxx - our deposit goes from $1K - to over $3K......not good.

My family and I will be joining the fun on this trip! I booked the "double dip" on the Wonder last weekend...can you belive my first DCL cruise was without my kids?! They weren't too happy about that, but it was a girls only weekend getaway. The price was too good to pass up, so I booked this one for us next June. Travelling will be me, DH, Marissa(18), Savannah(14) and Rebecca(6). We're all experienced cruisers, but this will be our first as a family with DCL...the girls are more than excited. I look forward to meeting you all as the weeks pass. I'll try to get on FB later today and join that too, but will admit I'm more often here than there. And Cruise Critic too, though I didnt see a roll call there for this cruise.

I thought it was 20% down ??? and if you rebook on board it was 10 % down so you still get 1/2 dep depending on the price of your cruise it may or may not work for you. I havent heard anything about a 50% of your cruise dep I hope this is not true

Me too! 50% deposit seems steep....maybe it was just for the Inaugural Sailing?

DH just figured out today how many more hours I have to sub to pay the Fantasy cruise....and get the deposit for the next cruise we book onboard!

Whew! I haven't booked a cruise on the Fantasy, waiting for cruises closer to the end of the year. We leave on our Eastern Caribbean cruise in three weeks, may check it out then and see...maybe a dummy cruise until the dates we really want are opened.

Welcome! The FE is basically a pocket file that hangs outside the stateroom door. People in the group know where the FE folks are located and secretly deliver little goodies. I've read some groups where people have assigned days and themes. Thusfar, we haven't done any of that. I've received anything from pencils to State themed treats to monogrammed towels to crafts....the fun is in the coming back to the cabin and finding the goodies waiting for you!

I suppose as we get closer, I'm sure we'll come up with some guidelines - have you joined the fb group?

And it looks like no friend requesting is needed. Just follow the link

We're booked on this cruise 7 of us. Me DW DD DS DSGF DD(7) DS(6). This is our 5th DC 2-3 day 1-4 day 1-7 day. WDW for 5 days then the Dream for 5 days with 2 stops @ CC. should be a blast can't wait .
