I was wondering when the 2012 Dream pricing thread would be updated. I see a fair number of updates not included over the last month. This is a great idea, but it is difficult to tell what is happening with pricing...
Maybe I am missing the point though. Is the thread meant to work by the user sifting through the posts? Also, if it isn't, it would be a great help to see when the purchaser placed the deposit to get an idea of rising prices.
Thanks.

How were you able to get the Disney Visa OBC? I was not able to use the code. The Disney Visa website says that the offer is only good for sailings through 12/31/2011.

I contacted them through the Disney cruise website asking about the Visa credit and their response is below.
I'm sure they will extend the offer past 2011, as they always do. I'll remind them when I make my final payment in January 2012.

Thank you for choosing a Disney Cruise Line vacation!

I would be happy to assist you.

The $50 Onboard Credit (per stateroom) will be applied to the booking
when the reservation is paid in full with a Disney's Rewards Visa Credit
Card and/or Disney Rewards Cards. This onboard credit will not be shown
on your reservation. You will receive a card in your stateroom advising
you of the credit.

You will also receive your $25.00 onboard credit for booking online.
This onboard credit does show on your confirmation.

I hope this information has been helpful. If you require further
assistance in planning your visit, please feel free to contact us.

We look forward to sailing with you!

Have a Magical Day!

Thanks! I appreciate the information.:) I did contact them through the Disney Cruise website, and they have added the code to my reservation. At the time of my booking the offer was not available for 2012, but the promotion has now been extended to include 2012.:yay:

I've been waiting not so patiently for them to extend the DV OBC offer.

Thanks.

The purpose of the pricing threads is to track opening day prices only. It was never intended to track how the prices went up over time. This was due to the fact that the past couple times platinum and gold CC members could book before silver members and this gave them an idea of what the prices would be. In the past these threads have only been updated the day of the opening and perhaps the following day. No one posted to them after that. I have wondered why people keep posting their rates on the Fantasy & Dream's threads this year. When there is a new opening day there should be a new thread started.

In the past the threads have been closed after opening day. Perhaps these threads need to be closed as well to prevent further postings that will not be updated in the first post.
