My wedding planner (Doreen) informed me today that I will be receiving a new planner due to "some switches in the department". That is fine, hopefully......

My question is......we already have everything planned and Doreen has been great, she has been there from day one and has accomplished almost everything for the wedding.

We do not have much left to plan, so my new planner will just be executing what we have already decided and discussed with Doreen.

I was planning on getting Doreen a nice gift basket from Crabetree & Evelyn or something similar, with all kinds of bath stuff and relaxation items, cause I know the woman has to get stressed with how demanding her job is.

I have been VERY happy with her, but now I am not sure what is appropriate. Do I get something for her, Rosie, and my new planner.......or just Rosie and my final planner? I don't want Doreen's hard work to go unnoticed, but I also don't want to break the bank to overcompensate.......

What are your opinions?

I would get something small for each of them...that way they both feel appreciated and you won't have to shell out major $ :)

In addition to whatever gift you choose, you might also consider writing a letter to Disney complimenting your first planner - not to complain about the reassignment, but just to let them know how helpful she was. Always nice to have those in your personnel file!!

I just want to take a moment to second this. Disney takes feedback *very* seriously! If you can address it to her manager and copy her on it... it will go a long way!

I want to send a letter to Doreen's manager to show my appreciation. How do I find out who that person is w/o having to ask her?

The head of the Fairytale weddings department is Jeff Ralls.
I am not sure of his address but you can always email him at:Jeff.Ralls@disney.com
or you could email his personal assistant at: candice.current@disney.com
Also her telephone number is: 407-566-6282, maybe she might help you.
