I'd love some feedback on our ADRs. We have 7 in our party, 3 adults, 4 children (G8, G6, G4 and B4). We also have the DP. We are staying at OKW.

11/4 - Arrival date - we have nothing booked (Suggestions? Our plane gets in at 11:30am so I have no idea what time to plan a dinner for or where.)

11/5 - 9:55 Akershus Breakfast (thinking of canceling since it's two TS in one day)
4:10 Dinner at Coral Reef

11/6 - 4:15 Dinner at the Castle

11/7 - 11:45 Lunch at Crystal Palace (Character meal with Winnie)

11/8 - 4:45 Dinner at Mama Melrose (Fantasmic package for 7pm show)

11/9 - 6:30 Dinner at Olivia's (we are staying at OKW and planning that for a down day)

I am thinking of getting rid of Akershus since we have done that before. Should I try to get the Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House or the Liberty Tree as well or is that too many "character" meals? Are either of these "better" than the Crystal Palace? We had planned on Chef Mickey but heard that since the hotel is under construction, it just seemed not as good (maybe it changed the feeling of it all since it wasn't 100%). Not sure..just what a friend said who came back this week. I do realize we have 7 TS credits since the Castle is 2 TS - I planned on paying for Olivia's since I think it would be the least expensive.

Thanks for your feedback!

Are you going to a park the first day?

If you aren't going to a park, I would go to DTD and eat.

I enjoyed CP much better than LTT. Your ADR's look good to me. I wouldn't try to do ADR's for 2 different parks in one day, but that's just me (and I have little ones). :)
I agree with PP about eating at DTD the first night.

Have a blast!!:goodvibes

We're not sure...I guess it depends on what everyone is up for. DTD was my first thought since we are right there. Any suggestions on restaurants there?

Also, I know this is OT but, is there a post to find out the time it takes to get from your hotel to the parks? I can't find it if there is. Sorry, OT.

Also, I think Akerhus and Coral Reef in one day is fine - both at Epcot. We're planning Cape May and LeCellier on our W/S day. Late breakfast - let's us sleep in then early dinner - gets us "home" early and to bed early. Seeing the countries in between.

I'd try for Chef Mickey's that first night for dinner.

Boma is also great place to eat.

Cancelling the Princess meal is a good idea since you've been and have CRT.

DSLTX - What a great site! thank you so much!

Septbaby - I got CM for that first night! A friend just returned at said it was her least fav because all the construction at the hotel. :( I would think by Nov. that will all be done though! Thanks again.

Well, if you are not planning on going to a park, you could eat dinner on your arrival day at Ohana's or 1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian or the new Wave Restaurant (haven't hear positive feedback on them though). Then head back to your resort for a swim w/the kids.

I would think that you would make it to a 5:30/6:30 dinner just fine.

OR...if you want to be adventurous you can try Yak & Yeti at the AK park, or one of the "Countries" at EPCOT...that could be totally cool and a great way to start off the trip!!!:cool1:

Chef Mickey's should be really fun and a wonderful way to start the vacation. My 6yo nephew LOVED it and over 8 months later still talks about Chef Mickey's! They take a photo there, but it isn't included in the fee like CRT.

Sounds like you've got great plans. Though your friend had certain experiences it is good that you're going with your own gut for your family and just have another magical visit.

I learn something every time I read these posts! I didn't realize we got a photo at CRT! Can you tell me how that works?
