Dr Phillips Center, Orlando, - Anyone been to concert there

Looking to see Foreigner there. Can anyone tell me how the area is? Parking in area?

It's in downtown Orlando so not the best but not the worst area. A few years ago, I saw Wicked at the Dr Phillips Center. There was a lot of foot traffic between others going to the show and nearby restaurants. We parked in a nearby parking garage and walked a few blocks. I think it was a flat fee for parking that night.

Dr. Phillips Center is giving the option to pre-purchase parking for $12-13 at either the Seaside Plaza Garage at 77 East Jackson Street or the City Commons Garage at 460 Boone Ave.

Should I do it? Is there any benefit? This is for a 5 PM event on a Saturday.

I'd park in the garage; that's what we did when we went to see Nutcracker there. You don't know the city, don't know where else there might be to park, don't know how safe it is, and if you pre-buy you are guaranteed a space. That's not a terrible price- you'd pay more than that at any major airport, and think about what people pay for offsite parking for sporting events; here it's $12-$20 dollars!

I saw Dear Evan Hansen there. We were in WDW for a vacation and got a car service to drop us off/pick up after the show. It was very easy.
