Dr Phil today

I don't watch often but I'm Having a lazy day. This afternoons episode has a family on from the show Monster In Laws.
Oh my word!!! Are people really that horrible?

Gotta say if that were my mo in law I couldnt move far enough away!!!

Anyone else seeing this episode today?

OMG! I watched. That women was a nightmare. Why her DH hadn't dumped her is beyond me! Why her dd still talks to her?? And boy that guy must love her daughter to marry her with that for a mil! I liked when Dr. Phil asked if they could move even further away! LOL.

She wouldn't shut up! I feel sorry for any kids that come along, unless that mil zips her mouth. I wouldn't let that women near my kids! Her DSIL is a paramedic/fireman! He works 3 day 24 hour shifts a month, and all she says is he doens't work, and he shoudl get a job at Mickey D's. I mean seriously! She is horrible and selfish and CRAZY! I so wanted to reach into my tv and smack some sense into her!

I see homicide in the future for this family. Whether it'll be the son in law killing his mother in law or the MIL killing the son in law it's anyones guess.

What a horror of a human being! I was a little surprised Phil let up on her and told her he could see where she was coming from. Then again I always thought he was a bit of a fruit loop anyway. LOL

She was absolutely horrendous (the MIL). I did not get to sit and watch the beginning. But what was the deal with the car, the wife sounded like a witch there, she sounded like she wanted a high class wedding and him to sell the car to pay for it...how about having a wedding you can afford?

Totally agree! And the DD is totally responsible for allowing all of this to happen.

Edit: I believe the DM is upset about the DD being in TN, and is taking it out on the SIL, like the lady from the "Monsters in Law" show implied.

That woman was certifiable. I wanted to give her a beat down after just 5 minutes of listening to her. Her husband must be a saint! That poor SIL is in for a lot of misery unless the daughter wraps some duct tape around that mother's head.

I didn't see the end of it but I had seen enough to know that mother was a crazy and the kids aren't far enough away like Dr. Phil says. I wanted Dr Phil to throw her out.

I am surprised that Dr Phil didnt remove her from the stage, I liked when she said that she was there for him to help them, umm no in your mind if Dr Phil isnt agreeing with you, he is not helping. I think she expected a totally different show

I wanted to put my hands through the TV and rip that womans head off-what a witch!!! I can't believe the son in law hasn't just said to the wife "you are so not worth all of this" and walk away from the whole family!

I am also suspicious of the daughter Fallon, she seemed pretty witchy when it was time to sell the car, but then seem so "in love" and sweet when on the show.

I caught the very end of the show. I liked that Dr. Phil told the couple that the wife should handle her family and the DSIL should handle his family, regarding any conflicts in the marriage. I agree with this. The wife should have defended her DH more, against her mother's attacks. IMO, she needs to totally write her mother out of her life. This woman is nuts!!!

I dunno, with the new info provided by Nayan, I now think they're attention prostitutes, looking to cash in on the "reality" show craze. But I'm cynical like that.

That's right! I remember her from that show. She was the racist pig that said she wouldn't want an Asian or a "black one" or a fat girl as a possible date for her son.
