Dr. Doom's??

As others have said, the "waiting to launch" anticipation is by far the worst part. The launch itself will give you a bit of a jump as well.

Beyond that, no foolin', I've personally always found the ride incredibly peaceful. As soon as you're up in the air it slows down considerably and leaves you up there for a moment. It's honestly not so high that it feels unsettling and scary, like a Six Flags Giant Drop. (Especially since you know that youre not going to be dropping rapidly. The fast part is over at that point.)

You can see the people below clearly, you're strapped in, you're not moving fast. For that moment you get a comfy chair with a spectacular view, a nice breeze, and as I look down over the whole park I always get filled with that, "I'm in Florida. :D" feeling. Everytime I ride it, I say to my pal Zach, "God I wish we could just get stuck up here for an hour one day. This would be an awesome place to just sit and have a conversation."

Then we play, "Lets see if we can find my mom" because she never rides it, and is usually wandeirng around Marvel Superhero Island waiting for us. It's like Where's Waldo, but the people move.

Anyway, I may be crazy, getting a calming sensation from a thrill ride, but that's my 2 cents.

PS. DOOM1001, the picture in your signature cracked up both me and my father. Sam is the king. A Florida trip isn't a Florida trip for us until we've seen Sam.

Oooh, this is a switch I hadn't anticipated - so the *down* portion isn't a free-fall?
