Does the show compensate these guys or is it just free advertising?
Do the patients featured get anything? They certainly reveal a lot of themselves in the course of a show...literally and figuratively.
How many of you women could be married to someone who did this for a living?
Dr. Rey seems to be justifying what he does half the time. Does he really think he is helping these people or is he really into the financial rewards?

I also read another article that said the surgeons can not be directly compensated. The dr that was interviewed said his phones rang off the hook after the shows aired.

I do believe they are helping people. I don't think it is all for financial gain, but I'm sure that is an important part.
