DQ - extra money needed?

I read that there are some games, etc in DQ that do require extra money. Is this quarters? tokens? what's the average cost of these games?

Only those games that give out coupons redeemable for prizes require extra payment (usualy 25 or 50 cents as one or two tokens). Fewer than ten percent of the games are pay-games.

There is so much to do you really dont need to do anything with extra money. The fun virtual reality stuff will take a lot of your time and attention.

I was told that there are games for younger kids that require additional money; skeeball, toy making, etc, in creative zone? arcade games?

I think that you can design the toys for free, but if you want to take home a copy of what you created on the screen, you must pay for it. They have other things that you can buy as a souvenir of the experience: artwork, video of the virtual coaster, copy of the music. I think that there is plenty to do without paying extra. My kids know that if we paid an admission, anything that costs extra comes out of their "long term savings" account. My youngest used his money to buy a copy of his virtual coaster creation and is still very happy with it almost two years later.

There's free skee ball machines in DQ. You could spend hours in there and not spend a penny.

There is a section where you can purchase game cards to play games that give out tickets. The tickets can be used to redeem prizes. There is really enough "free" things that you don't have to do this. (Of course my DD likes this area. Nothing is ever cheap with her!!! )

thanks...what kind of games are the ones that you have to purchase a game card for (that give out tickets)? I'm sure that although there's plenty of other games and activities, mine will also end up needing more money!
