Downtown Disney

I was there last week and was so surprised to see the resturants & World of Disney closing at 10:30 11:00. In all the many many times i've been there I have never seen them close so early. We were planning to go eat then go back to shop & WofD. I was sooooo disappointed. The only resturant open was Rain Forest Cafe (not a fan) & ESPN. Hmmm, not to good of options but we chose RFC. Was ok this time & had a nice waitress. Anyway back to reason I posted this. Does anyone know why they are closing so much earlier than they used to? I love shopping there after park closes.

Did the parks also close early when you went? I'm sure DTD must close earlier when the parks close early.
