Downtown Disney to offer valet parking this fall

This fall, Walt Disney World will be offering a valet parking service at Downtown Disney. Much of the area's parking has been taken up by the construction of the new Disney Springs, so as a way to make parking easier for guests, the valet program has been introduced. Beginning October 21, guests will be able to valet park their cars for a fee of $15, plus tips. The service will be available at the West Side in front of Cirque du Soleil from 4:00pm - 2:00am and last through the holidays. Tables in Wonderland cardholders can take advantage of the service for free when they present a restaurant receipt from that evening.

Free valet DOES NOT include handicap placards !
Nor does it include showing a Valet Parking receipt from paying at a resort.
Either you have TIW with a receipt, or you pay $15 plus tip.

What are they doing about handicapped parking now that so many of the parking spaces have been taken away because of construction? The number wasn't adequate before, so surely now it's a major problem.

1) Allegedly, they have added A FEW handicap spaces at DTD.
2) But, they eliminated free valet parking for handicap at DTD.
3) They claim that DTD is different than resorts.
4) So, no free valet with a placard.
5) Nor, credit if you already paid valet at a resort.
6) Additionally, if you paid at DTD, it does not transfer to resorts for non-handicap.

Or you could park your car yourself and walk a couple of hundred meters, after all your at disney, you will be walking a lot anyway

The parking situation at DTD is an absolute nightmare right now. Hopefully this will help a bit.
