Downtown Disney store hours

I see that Downtown Disney is open from 7am - 2am year round but do all of the stores in Downtown Disney open at those times? For example - can you get ice cream at 7am at the Haagen Dazs shop?

No. Every stores hours vary daily based on park hours and can all be different even from day to day.

Even the 7am time posted is not totally accurate. The main Starbucks in DTD opens at 5am daily.

Has anyone tried going to DTD Starbucks since they opened the security checkpoint leading to DTD? Someone reported that they were delayed walking to EMH because the checkpoint wasn't open. There may be a period where you can pass through in the morning and then some time after that when you can't.

We only ever get there about 8-8:30 (because that's when the parking lot opens up if park doesn't open till 10) and have not had any issues. But that's only 30 minutes before the EMH starts.

If you're talking about getting coffee right at 7 AM I don't know, but I would assume they would need to have someone at the checkpoint for 7 AM to let guests in? If you're staying at the DLH, you could try walking around the ESPN building to the front entrance of DTD from the parking lot. That might be open where the resort one may not? If some stores are opening at 7 AM they are relying on those checkpoints being open so they can have customers. There is bound to be someone at the checkpoints by then.
