Downtown Disney Resorts

Could someone describe the Downtown Disney Resorts? I've looked on disneyworld.com to try and get pricing, but they are not an option from the resort list.

It all depends on which resort you are talking about. The DTD resorts are booked through their respective hotel websites or I believe through a site like Expedia. I have stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott on two occasions in the past year and rather enjoyed myself. My brother works for Marriott so we were able to get a discount and on a college students budget, that was just what we needed. Last March, we had a nice room that overlooked the pool and DTD. The room was huge! It was so spacious and we became fast friends with the hotel staff. They have a bus service to the parks that is supposed to come every half hour but usually doesn't. I figured that it probably took us an hour total to get to any park. I can't comment on any other resorts because I have never stayed at them but check out www.mousesavers.com. Mary writes great trip reports and I believe that she has checked out several of the other hotels in the DTD area.

We got a room at the Wyndam at DD for $68 a night. I booked it through www.hotwire.com I have never stayed there before, but most comments I have seen are positive.
