Downtown Disney resort bus

Can anyone share recent experiences on riding the DTD resort bus? Any information would be appreciated.

you must go to a Disney hotel to catch this bus. the days when you could get in at one the parks is long gone.

what are you interested in - actually going to DD or driving to DD and taking the bus to the parks. As said now you have to go thru one of the hotels - which adds quiet a bit of time.

you have to compare the cost of $14 to missing at least one hour possible more 2 during the morning hours - when getting there early is important.

Yeah thanks, but I am actually asking about the bus service that the DTD resorts provide, not the Disney buses.

oh it has been a while - but when I was there a bus (not always the one you wanted) did arrive every 30 minutes.

there are 2 - one for MK and AK
one for Epcot and Studios

now this work fine for me. the only problem was if you were at the MK and wanted to come back before AK closed. then it was faster to get take the Disney DD bus - from Epcot (BC), from Studios (BWV), from MK (CR) - this means walking over to these buses (or at the studios or epcot taking the boat) (at mk taking the monorail - if you do this would go to GF)
