Downtown Disney Holiday Inn

We are staying here next month for two nights. Can someone who has actually stayed here help me out?

How far of a walk is it from the hotel to DD? Is it a safe walk (crossing busy streets, etc...)? I am traveling alone with my dd and want to make sure we can do it easily.

It's a 10 minute walk with sidewalks and a light to cross the busy street with. You can do it at night also as the walk way is lit. You'll do fine with a child.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving because we couldn't pass up the amazing rate we found ($38/night). We were very pleased with this hotel. The walk is very short, all along a lit sidewalk. The hotel does charge for parking, $10/night but there isn't a resort fee. The pool area was very nice and the pool was heated nicely. And most important, the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable.
