Downtown Disney Hilton Question

My family and I are splitting our March vacation between the DD Hilton and CS - 3 nights each. Has anyone been to the DD Hilton recently? Does anyone have any impressions, tips, or information to share?

I've only been as far as the lobby - we go there to eat at Benihana's frequently. And then after eating all that food take a walk to the Disney Store at the other end of the lobby.

It's been quiet awhile since I was last there but here is what I remember. We were originally given a room quite high up and I didnt quite like the fact that there was no balcony and you couldn't open a window something that had never bothered me before but for some reason it did then. My husband called the front desk and not only did they move us but gave us a great ground floor room with outdoor seating. This worked out great for quick trips to the pool and for wet stuff. Pool area was very nice and as long as everyone was quiet they were allowed to swim until at least midnight. We took advantage of the extra magic hours usually ate at a buffet meal mid day and then grabbed a sandwich or snack at the hotel and went for a swim. A very easy walk to DTD as well. I know that they also have new Jr. Suites that we may use someday. Hope this helps.
