Downtown Disney Dining????

I guess it depends on the type of meal you are going for? We just went in May and had a fantastic dinner at Wolfgang Upstairs. We also had sundaes at the fountain shop .. Mmmmmm

Earlier that week I had dinner at Fultons and felt it's gone down from a couple years ago, quality was good but portions were small.

Previous trips we've eatten at Earl of Sandwich and it's great for lunch or a small meal. House of Blues, PH, and RFC all have that chain place feel to them and draw huge international crowds for some reason.

I've had nice meals at the PYC and they have one of the best wine selections in all WDW.

Wolfgang Puck Express for its great pizza, pasta, chicken quesadillas and garlic mashed potatoes!

Earl of Sandwich for their yummy sandwiches on freshly baked buns.

Bongos for their cuban sandwiches and mariquitas (fried plantain chips).

House of Blues for their amazing ribs and to-die-for rosemary baked corn bread!

We went last month and loved Earl of Sandwhich and Planet Hollywood. Lots of differnet things to chose from at both places so everyone was happy.

Wolfgang Puck Express for us :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:. We make sure we eat there atleast once every trip.......we just love it :dance3:.

We really enjoyed Wolfgang Puck Cafe. My 3 boys just loved the Make-Your-Own Sundae Artist's Palette.

Although most people do not care for it, we actually had a very enjoyable meal at Capt'n Jacks. We had a awesome table by the windows with a great view. And lobster on the Dining Plan is such a great deal!

Used to be Portobello Yacht Club but not anymore. This last trip we received the absolute worst service we've ever had at Disney. We were a party of 6 so the gratuity was automatically added, but the service was so bad DH complained and had it removed. It's sad because it used to be one of our favorties but we will never go back.

We've eaten at Fulton's years ago and while the food was good, service was hit-or-miss. We are definitely on the lookout for a new DTD restaurant.

our fav USE to be wolfgang puck express,we would always use a cs credit there but the last time I was in orlando I went to Earl of Sandwich and I loved it! we have been to wdw a million times and never ate there but it WILL be on our list when we go in dec 08 .I would rather eat there than a yucky food court meal any day....

Whenever people say "portions are small", I wonder what they mean. The HUMONGOUS and inappropriately oversized portions in most restaurants have completely clouded our judgement about what is a good portion or not. Most places I eat I have to leave some on the plate or else I leave feeling uncomfortably full. And I say if the meal isn't killing you portion-wise, then there is room for other courses, like a delicious salad or soup, and of course DESSERT!

That said, Fulton's is hands down our favorite for dinner, with Earl of Sandwich coming in first for lunch.

We actually had a surprisingly good meal at Planet Hollywood last time we were there, but the atmosphere makes our eyes and ears bleed, so no matter how good the food, we aren't big fans. It's good for latenight eats, tho.

Raglan Road - great food, great service, great entertainment.

Did not care for Planet Hollywood - over-rated and over-priced.

well, its not Wolfgang Pucks for sure. Probably House of Blues

We like Captain Jack's. We love Fulton's and Portabella.

Wolfgang Puck Express . We eat here every trip. We love the salads & pizza and DH loves the chicken tortilla soup. How he can eat this on an 80 degree day, I have no idea :confused3 but he loves it.
And we must must must have an ice cream at Ghiradelli. Waffle cone dipped in chocolate with vanilla ice cream w/ hot fudge on the side.

Okay - we are a little weird. For a CS meal we like FoodQuest in Disney Quest. It was the best CS pizza and burger we had and the desserts were yummy!:confused3

Wolfgang Puck Express, I can't wait to go back! The only TS we've eaten at in DTD is Rainforest and it was OK, this year we're trying Captain Jack's for the lobster.

I would never say it was my favorite, but I was pleased with the quality and portions at FoodQuest. And of course the desserts are great--it's a Cheesecake Factory!!

Steer clear of Raglan Road, especially in the busy times.

Fulton's was horrible, too.

We like Earl of Sandwich. My parents have gone to Cap 'N' Jacks a few times and loved it.
