Downtown Disney Dining Reservations question

Can anyone tell me if the restaurants in downtown Disney offer reservations 60 days out like the parks do? Do we reserve them through Disney dining or call the specific restaurants directly? We usually dine at Naples but we have never called ahead we usually have to wait an hour. We are going in late June so I figured reservations would be good if they accept them. Can anyone tell me if the Jazz Kitchen is good with 2 kids ages 6 and 3? I have heard good things but never tried it. I am guessing adults would like it but what about the kiddos? You can make a reservation for the DTD restaurants by calling the Dining Disney number. The only exception is for the Rainforest Cafe. That one you have to call directly.
