Downtown Disney Check in

Hi,

Has the Virgin Downtown Disney check-in reopened since 9/11??

We always found this the best reaon to fly Virgin.

Yes, it is re-open, but apparently there is a $5 fee per person for using it when going outbound. Virgin Atlantic feeling greedy again?!

I think the charge is to pay for an airport security person who now has to be there. It's no big deal. If you booked in early at the airport it would cost $$ for tolls, parking etc.

Yes it is open and yes you have to pay $5 and yes there is a security guy there to ask all the questions.

As far as we were concerned it was a small price to pay to get rid of the luggage and have the rest of the day free to do what we wanted - especially when we turned up at MCO to see hundreds of people queueing up at check-in.

Yes $5 is a small price to pay!!!
