I was told by my DVC guide that there will be a walkway to DDT from Saratoga Springs, as well as a boat! I hope that is right. We like DDT as much as any of the parks themselves, and with teenagers, it is teriffic (Disney Quest and Magic Masters!)

Great idea, kind of like the walkway between Disney MGM and Board walk villas. It will save you the trouble of trying to find a parking spot at DTD, which can really be a problem at times! :D

the old DI had a walkway - and the new SS looks like it is in the same area - so DD is in the backyard.

I think there's a whole lot of opportunity to integrate SSR and DTD into an even larger center for entertainment, shopping, etc with SSR the flagship resort for all the action.

Congratulations on your purchase. Good pick!

Just curious, what is Magic Masters?

A Magic shop in DTD west side. It has a huge Top Hat outside.I have a picture somewhere, if I can find it I will post it.

Magic Masters is a store in DDT located right near Disney Quest. You won't know it is really a store at first, because when you walk up you will likely see a magician performing magic tricks inside. A little audience gathers and watches. The magicians are excellent and also are very good comedians!

So you get a free little magic/comedy show. Basically, they use their demonstration as an advertisement to sell whatever trick they are demonstrating at the time!

Kids (about age 8 and up) and adults will enjoy a quick visit to this store and the free entertainment. My son is 12 and it is his favorite place in Disney (next to Disney Quest) The magicians tend to interact with the kids a lot, too, and make them part of the trick.

We always have to make a stop there BEFORE and AFTER Disney Quest and often don't have time for much else on those nights.

That sounds like fun, I never knew it was there. My kids are now young adults so they take themselves to Disney Quest so I am uusually not in that area. I will make a point of checking it out next month! Thanks!

Here ya go Deep...

Thanks for the picture! :D I have probably walked right by this shop and never paid attention!

That business used to be The Wildhorse store. Instead of the magic hat, it had a pair of wild stallions on the roof. Every few minutes you would hear a recording of a stampede and at the end the horses would blow smoke {steam actually} out of their nostrils. I think that went about the same time as the wildhorse salloon on pleasure Island closed. That I am not 100% sure of though. Oops, almost forgot, they sold western gear there including saddles and chaps.

Just wondered if anyone is concerned that the walkway TO DownTown Disney will also be a walkway FROM DD?? With the possiblity that the revelers, drunks, etc might decide to wander over for a 2:00 AM "look-see"??

I can't help but believe that there might be some security of some kind, maybe a gate that you have to have your key to get thru or something.

I think people walking over from Pleasure Island is unlikely, since I think the walkway will lead to the Marketplace, which closes a couple of hours earlier than Pleasure Island where all the partying is going on. Not sure about the boat.
