Downtown Disney and Magic bands

Do the stores accept Magic bands for payment in Downtown Disney? I don't plan on carrying my wallet much but I will if need it for when we go shopping.

I can only speak for the Disney stores in the Marketplace, but yes, you can charge with your Magic Band

Yep..... The CM at our resort told our then 5 year old that the bands were magic and you only had to touch it to Mickey to pay. He thought that no money was required and the Lego Store was his for the touching. Not a happy kid when we had to convince him he was wrong. The bands worked everywhere we shopped and ate.

They also work with PhotoPass photographers at Downtown Disney. I was surprised to see them this last trip, but we got a couple cute pics!

Great question! Hadn't even thought about this and assumed I would use my magic band to pay for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for my daughter and nieces. Good to know it will work!
