LOVE this show. Season 3 doesn't start until January for us, I'm watching season 2 now on DVD Trying to drag it out a bit so I don't have to go too long without it!

Is there anywhere to watch the first two seasons online for free? I see Hulu has it for paid subscription & Amazon had their "On Demand" in which I can pay for downloads.

Just happened to catch the entire second season on PBS a couple of weeks ago. FABULOUS!!

I've been hopping on a British IP and watching the 3rd season. Shirley Mclaine was a hoot in the first two episodes. I wasn't expecting last night at all.

When my husband was around I make him watch it with me and then we use our fake British posh accents for the rest of the evening.

I've wondered the same thing because this sounds like my kind of show.

We don't even have Netflix but have thought about retrying it (Didn't like it the first time we tried). I might be willing to try it again if this series from the beginning is on it. Netflix people - Is it?

I love this show! I saw a bumper sticker the other day that said "Free Mr. Bates" My husband and I are currently watching/downloading season 3 every Saturday night.

Rita how do you do this?

We have a paid VPN Service (HideMyAss) because my husband is frequently in Europe and wants US tv on his computer. I use that to give my computer a London IP address and then I watch it on the ITV website.

You can find free vpn service sites but it is really hard to find a free one reliable enough to stream video.

We don't even have Netflix but have thought about retrying it (Didn't like it the first time we tried). I might be willing to try it again if this series from the beginning is on it. Netflix people - Is it?

I watched Season 2 on Amazon, but it's only free for prime members.

I am so jealous of you guys across the pond that can watch Season 3 now! We have to wait until January. I am addicted to this show. I was so glad to see Maggie Smith win an Emmy, she is so perfect in her role. Actually when you think of it that show is perfectly cast...there isn't one person who isn't just perfect for their role.

I think Hulu, also paid for monthly subscription has both seasons. I think Hulu & Netflix are the same price per month. $7.99

Amazon has the whole season for download for $11.

I did a month trial with Netflix streaming and watched the first season on the Wii...I think you can do it with any gaming system? Then I did the week free trial of HuluPlus to watch the second season. You just have to have a block of time to fit in all 9 episodes in a week!
