Hi everybody! On to day 3. This day was a special day we planned for the girls. Because Josie was officially 3 on this trip, she was able to do the Bibbidi, Bobbidi, Boutique. Lindsey had done it the past two trips and is quickly outgrowing it but we decided to do both girls as this would probably be our only chance to get both done at the same time.
So on the morning of the 18th we got up and got ready to find a bus to DTD. (If you read my PTR, you know this wasn't how it was supposed to be but I digress). It seemed like it took forever for a bus to come by that was headed to DTD. Once we were on the bus it didn't take long at all to get to DTD. The skies were really overcast but it wasn't raining. So we hurried over to the World of Disney store. We snapped this before picture..
It was only about 3 minutes and the fairy godmothers were letting us in to the boutique. The girls got their pamphlets and their fairy godmothers and we were on our way to becoming princesses. I have a TON of pics of this but I won't bother you with them all.
Here is a pic of Josie while her FG was working on her hair. It was funny. Lindsey's FG did her makeup first and Josie's did her hair first. I like the look on Josie's face in this one.
Soon after this we were notiified that the girls clothing was ready in the royal dressing room. Josie was so excited! She kept saying "Look Momma", "Look Momma!"
After the girls were dressed. We headed back over to finish up the makeovers. I thought this one was so cute....Josie is blowing her nails. I think it's so cute because she's only 3. It's too funny how much of a little Diva she can be.
Anyway, after all was done here is the after pic!
We then headed over to the studio for the photoshoot that comes with the Castle package. Joe took these...
The girls had such a good time. After the studio shots it was getting close to 10:30 and we had a 12:05 ressie at CRT. We headed to the bus stop to hitch a ride to MK. This took FOREVER! It was 11:45 when we made it to MK. We had to hussle to make it to CRT in time. On the way over to MK, the flood started. I was so bummed. The girls had to wear ponchos over their beautiful costumes the rest of the day.
Anyway, we made it to CRT, checked in and was called within 10 minutes or so. On the way in, Joe took this...
The girls were each given another wand and a wishing star. Josie thought the wand was so cool and Lindsey was more drawn to the wishing star. Later the wands would become weapons of course.
The girls saw Aurora, Belle (in the blue dress), Snow White, and Jasmine. I won't bore you with the pictures.
I was really worried about the food here because of all the bad reviews, but actually isn't bad. It was much better than Akerhaus last year. The waiter at CRT gave Joe a card and each of the princesses signed his card as they came by. It was a neat souvie.
This meal had Josie's most favorite dessert. She was amazed with the chocolate crown. She's a chocolate freak so this was like the coolest thing ever to her.
This meal was pretty good, and the atmosphere can't be beat. We will definitely do this again!
Up next, the rest of the princess day!
