I got the giraffe tops at the Gap Outlet. The gap outlet in Nashville still had them in August so there's a chance you can still find them. Good luck!
. I agree with so much of what you wrote, I guess since we were all there at the same time during the same rainy weather. So happy you are booked at Poly. It's our families favorite resort!

It's crazy how rude and selfish people can be, especially at a place like Disney. I don't understand their sense of entitlement. I see people like that and really try hard to say "hey note to self, don't do that or you will look like THAT person". I will let you know when the PTR starts! I will start a PTR soon. Josie's b-day party is this weekend so I will busy the rest of this week but i will start it sometime next week for sure. The week of Oct. 5 (school fall break) we are heading to Gatlinburg so it will be a slow start and then I will take off. I'm not a big fan of the pirate pool now either. Sad your TR is over but hoping you start a PTR soon. Poor Josie that is awful what happened at the Pirate ship. It's so dangerous because of rude people who don't watch their kids. I despise that pirate play ship. Anyway i enjoed your SWW pica and your final thoughts. The good the bad and ugly is a great way to do them

Hi there and welcome to my TR!The rain was incredible but we had a good time regardless. I felt sorry for folks on their first visit too. We did meet a few families that had never been. I've gone that same week the last couple of years so I kept trying to assure them that the amount of rain was really unusual for this time of year. I hope it didn't completely turn them against WDW.

I am so bummed that we are not in Disney right now - it just doesn't seem right! We are a year-round school district, and we always go the first week of our fall break, which is now. It gives me something to look forward to that whole first quarter of school. So, after changing things up this year and regretting it, we will be going back to our usual September trip. Glad to see you again. Bummer that you won't be going back in May. It would have been fun to meet up. I would do a fall trip but our fall break is in October (usually blocked out for special offers) and then we don't get another break until Easter. For us it makes more sense to sneak in between end of school and Memorial Day (before the northern schools are out). Hope to see you over on my PTR!! Be sure to post!What a bummer about the yucky Chef Mickey's meal - we enjoyed ours, but with a buffet it can really depend on when you get there!
I'm totally with you about flying - I would rather drive (not out of dislike of flying, but to save money) but my hubby hates it. And I share the wheel with him, but he still says its just too far. I'm trying to convince him to drive next year and use the money saved on an upgrade.
Yes, we are definitely going in 2010. But... not in May this time. Really, it wasn't the rain that scared me off , because I know thats really unusual (in fact I hear that was the wettest week they've EVER had that wasn't caused by a tropical storm). But our usual week to go is in September - this very week in fact!

I will give Josie a big hug. We will definitely have to do Ohana. We loved it and it's unlimited food which makes my hubby happy. I can't wait for Josie to see her birthday surprise. I will post pics on facebook as soon as I get a chance...maybe on my PTR if I get started right away. Have a great weekend and enjoy the concert. Sounds like a lot of fun.
