Let's try this again...so we were heading to EPCOT. It didn't take too long to board a bus and get to EPCOT. On the way, we decided that we would run to Soarin' for fast passes and then beat feet to the DIS meet. We got to the Dis meet about 15minutes late. We did see Dana (racefan88) and Mary (MaryAZ) right away. We chatted for a few minutes and then a CM came over and said someone very special was lonely. We looked over and Aurora was standing to the side without a single person to see her. Of course the girls wanted to see her so we grabbed our books and headed to meet her.
We went back over to where the group was mingling to chat a little more. The kids were so cute. They were trading pins and having a big time.
Soon a photopass photographer showed up and snapped a few pics of the group. He then told us they had a surprise and Princess Aurora joined the group. She sat on the ground with the children. It was so nice! Unfortunately I don't have any photopass photos but Joe did take this for me:
Here's Lindsey in the sea of lime green.
So everyone chatted a little longer. I took this opportunity to shake hands with Lessa (Lifelong_Dreamer) and Rosie (englishrose47). They were both very nice and it was great to meet them.
After things started to break up we headed to R&C for some adult beverages. Joe had been waiting for this part all afternoon. I promised him a beer. Mary's DH bought Joe a beer for his birthday. That one didn't last too long so Joe bought he and Jeff another. I guess we didn't realize that the rest of the group was going inside of R&C. We were outside on the patio. We did have a great view of the lake. We saw them preparing for Illuminations. We took these:
So after a few beers we parted ways so that we could both catch an attraction and then make it to our 5:45 ressies. We headed to Mission Space. While getting in line we ran into Dana and her family again so we chatted during the queue. It was a great way to pass the time. When Lindsey and I got done we met Joe in the kiddie play area. Josie was having a large time climbing through the tubes. She was having so much fun I told Joe to go ahead and ride it and I would watch Josie play. This was our first time on this ride. The green version was no big deal so now my interest is peaked for the orange version.
Well after everyone rode, we needed to head to Canada for our dinner ressie at Le Cellier. If you read my PTR you know that I bought Joe and Lindsey the Seas Aqua Tour and had ordered a surprise cake for our dinner at Le Cellier.
So we got to Le Cellier and only waited about 5 minutes to be seated. While Joe was fiddling with the stroller I spoke with the CM at the podium about our cake. She assured me they would take everything. Well after seconds of pretzel bread, and the devouring of our entrees, the waitress came by and asked for our dessert orders. At that point I realized she had no idea about the cake. I just whispered to her (Joe thought I was asking them to sing Happy Birthday...lol) and after a few minutes she brought this out with about 10 candles lit.
We then gave Joe his card and that's when he found out about his tour. He really liked the special treatment. We had the waitress to box up the cake and we went ahead with the dessert orders we had already placed. This turned out to be a mistake.
Joe had the filet and I had the New York strip. Mine was good and Joe liked his also. The only thing about Le Cellier is that I always feel like I don't get enough food.

The portions are so small there. Seems like they could step it up just a little.
Anyway we had a very nice meal and the birthday boy was very happy. We headed over to Soarin' and there was just enough time for Joe and Lindsey to ride before Future World closed. They loved it as usual. After the ride is was raining a bit so we went back to the room. It was so beautiful that morning that I didn't pack the ponchos.
After we arrived to the room we decided to have some of Joe's birthday cake. Gotta have cake on your birthday! As soon as we sliced into I got a little upset. I had ordered chocolate cake - got white. I had ordered white chocolate buttercream and got standard buttercream. Joe is a chocolate fanatic so I was very disappointed but at that point there wasn't anything I could do. It tasted okay but I can do better. Maybe that's why I was tough on this cake...I know how much I paid and how much went into it and there was much to be desired. Joe didn't mind and told me not to worry about it and guess that's what really matters.
I know now that we will go back to Publix for b-day cakes. The cake last year was phenomenal in comparison and was $30 cheaper...
