Downown Disney ??

I was wondering if the UPH got you into the pleasuer Isladafter 7pm when there is a covercharge. I was alos wondering if anyone could give em som info on Downtown Disney. I have read a lot but is it just a shopping and night clubdistrict? I would greatly aooreciate help on htis issue. I am trying to plan and was wondering if I should plan for some timein DD.

Hi Mrs. Putnam!

The UPH includes entry into Pleasure Island, normally about a $22 per night cost. PI opens at 7 PM (the island used to be open for viewing in the afternoon, not anymore).

Downtown Disney is a shopping and eating area, basically, but themed well, as are all things Disney. There's one of the largest Disney stores you'll ever see, specialty shops such as the Lego Store, and my personal favorite, Pooh Corner, which sells all things Pooh. The restaurants range from hot dogs and McDonalds to the fancy and expensive. It's a great place to take kids, pretty at night, and PI is the ultimate evening fare for adults.
