Downgrade from reg DP to QSDP?

Who would want to downgrade to the QSDP? My DH and dad. Last time we went we had the reg DP and they didn't like planning the days around meals. I booked some breakfast before the parks, but I couldn't eat a big breakfast everyday. So if we are staying at a Mod during free dining (when or if they announce it) could I downgrade to the QSDP?

Historically, no, you couldn't downgrade. Then again, during "free dining", they typically allow you to use a TS for CS (and possibly some extra perk like a bag, lanyard, or extra snack credit), which is not general policy the rest of the year.

But they changed the "extra perk" policy last year during FD and did not give anything extra. Also, some people were not allowed to use TS for CS at some locations.
