If I'm reading the official Disney announcement correctly, there is a downfall to the DVC Villas about to open at the Grand Californian in 2009. The article states time and time again that the hotel will feature "two bedroom villas" for DVC owners. I would say this means that there will be no studios or one bedrooms built. Experienced DVC members are aware how many points are required to reserve two bedroom villas. Would this really be a deal for someone like myself who typically books studios or one bedrooms? I believe I would come out ahead by just renting a regular room each visit. Click here http://www.disneylandnews.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=234&view_id=5829 to read the entire article.
