Down memory lane at some Disney restaurants.

We ate there in 1977 on our honeymoon. I remember my DH didnt have a jacket and they gave him one.

The Empress Room required jackets as well.
As for Tony's breakfast--I recall a thread about the time it closed where Disney said there were already PLENTY of places to eat Breakfast at the MK..
And the Fireworks Factory--didn't they have black and yellow checkered table cloths??? For some reason that sticks in my mind--.

Whenever I get ready to book our ADR's, my husband always asks " What night are we going to the Empress Room?" Of all the restaurants at Disney that are no longer around, we miss that one the most.

I also have to agree about the earlier Narcoossee's. Remember when it was open for lunch?

Are we including bars in this list? Back when Sony was a Participant at Disney-MGM Studios, we used to book a late dinner at Brown Derby to eat with Sony's resident manager (his office was in their lounge behind Monster Sound Show). While we waited, we would imbibe at The Catwalk Bar. It was always fun and usually had a great bartender. I was in my twenties and would sometimes wonder if we would be able to walk the one hundred feet to dinner.

OF course bars are on the list!! And Catwalk was one of my favorites also. Just sitting in those plush chairs and relaxing--very nice.
