Hey LL. I'm really surprised to see you back, but I'm glad you had (and are continuing to have) a nice time. I understand what you mean about being Disney-ed out. Sometimes I think shorter trips can be better, especially considering how often you tend to go. Looking forward to hearing your and Jen's highlights.

Welcome back LL! Last May I felt "Disney-ed out", so I think I know how you feel. I actually went into my September trip fearful that I might feel the same way (I did not). Sometimes the best vacations (or parts of a vacation) are spent at home with the focus on getting your life in order.

I am so glad you are enjoying your last few days before returning to work. I really am looking forward to see all you fab pictures. I hope you loved the Boardwalk.

The perfect remedy for "Disneyed-out"...... a Cruise!

I have to be honest....I'm ready for more of the present day stuff in the Lauren Willig books. I feel like we just know the tip of the iceberg with Eloise and Collin (I think those are their names...now I'm doubting myself.) I really did enjoy this current book though.

I have always wanted more Eloise and Colin stuff. She makes me laugh out loud like when she says she feels like she is headed off to an Agatha Christie weekend and keeps expecting Hercule Poiret to appear and say, "Such a shame about zee American girl."

Hello All!!! Made it home safely yesterday!! I actually changed my flight to an earlier flight in the day because I was worried about being able to get out of Orlando, not that being stuck in Orlando is a bad thing, but it was time to get home!!! Especially when I found out that my plane to Austin was coming in from Philly...yeah I wasn't going to tempt fate on that one LOL!!

I have much to share with you (including some great stories) on my days there!!! It will take a couple of days to get my pictures uploaded and ready to go but until then Leslie can entertain you with her take on things LOL!!!!!! I can't wait to show you some of the pictures I took from the new adventures I took!!!! I'm also dabbling with the idea of doing a dining report because Disney food is so good!!!

Of course the best news of all....I weighed in yesterday...didn't gain a single pound while away WOOT WOOT!! Of course this morning it was very hard for me to get up, so no workout but I'm going to get myself back on track with that tomorrow!!!!!

I'm also looking forward to future trips!!! I'm going to be joining up with the girls at the end of April/May and then I'll be going back for a longer trip at the end of May into June....then I'll have to hold off on Disney for awhile LOL!!!!!!

Well can't wait to get this show on the road!!!! So much to share!!

WOOT WOOT!! I love that new discovery...it was an amazing meal!! Now I'm all happy thinking of Disney food

Somehow I don't think my lunch will live up to that although I do have a Mickey Rice Krispy treat to eat and that sounds delightful!!!!!

LOL I needed to get off the sofa tomorrow!! No matter how yucky I feel tomorrow I'm so working out!! I have a goal to make LOL!!!!!!!

The food was so good!!! I had some really great meals and I was very excited to see that the scale hadn't moved!!! Must be all the walking you do!!! I definitely want to make sure I stay somewhere I can work out at LOL!!!! That helped too!!!

As I said in my previous post, Jen & I have decided to not do a traditional trip report. We've been there...and done that. I feel like my TRs are the same pictures and same things so I'm just going to post about the highlights of the trip!

My flight was uneventful and I was quickly on the Magical Express....where a not so "high"light happened. If you believe it...a WOMAN PUKED in the seat right in FRONT of me. Let me tell you, I almost tossed my cookies. Luckily I had gum with me, I twisted around in my seat and started a conversation with a lovely DVC member who was staying at Kidani and then was headed on a Disney cruise. Thankfully she distracted me for the puke carnage. I'm very much the type of person who loses it when other people puke. Phew...crisis averted!

When I arrived at Pop with a little luck my room was ready so I hurried over to the 50's section, building 2, 3rd floor, dropped by bags off, brushed my teeth and made my way to the Epcot bus.

I was on the bus by 12:37PM.

Of course my first ride was Spaceship Earth. I tried to pick a picture that I haven't shown before of Spaceship Earth.

It's so lovely to enjoy your first Disney ride. Epcot ended up being super crowded so I headed over to Magic Kingdom via Monorail.

I didn't ride a single ride. I was hitting the wall. I did a walking loop around MK and then decided to head back to Pop.

I did take a picture of a lovely MK shop display.

Once back at Pop, I rested a bit, ate some food and decided to do a Disney first for me. I took a super relaxing walk around the lake at Pop.

Of course Ia picture of the sign from the year of my birth.

I'm so glad I took the time to do this! It was super peaceful and enjoyable.

On the way back to my room I looked closely at the Pop 50's pool.

I noticed that the pool deck is themed to be bowling lanes! It even has the little arrows. I decided that the blue-ish part must be the bumpers that inflate. Do you agree?

The last highlight of Day 1 was that Sex and the City: The Movie was on NBC that night! I don't know if I have ever admitted this before but I'm completely addicted to this movie and the entire series. In fact, I have watched all my DVDs so much that I had to get a cd wallet case for them because all the hardshells were breaking! To top it off, they showed scenes that had been deleted and are not on my dvd! It totally made my first day at Disney complete, I relaxed, I enjoyed and now it was time to sleep!

Welcome home Jen!! Can't wait to hear about your trip....and the FOOD!! It is so hard for me coming home from a trip...as in finding something for lunch/dinner I am always thinking well if I was in Disney I would eat... Looking forward to your new discovery!!!

Leslie Ughhhhhhhhh on the flight thankfully I have not had that happen to me!! ....omg that is so funny about the gum though...if someone comes to my desk and has bad breath I discretely find a piece of gum and start chewing on it....the smell takes away from their bad breath

Sounds like a nice walk around the lake....travel days can sometimes wear you out

LL you got some great pics. Sorry that you hit a wall so early in the trip but it must have been nice to get some exercise all by yourself at your own pace. I would love to be able to just take a long walk right now. My neighborhood is too dangerous. I'm terrified that someone is going to come around from behind a snowbank and hit me

LL - OMG to the puke! I am also a reflex puker when I see that. Never lost that reflex despite two kids and plenty of puke clean up.

OK - enough of that. Wowsa - You really got a great workout with all your walking. That's fabulous. I am glad you had such a nice quiet relaxed first day.
