My dsis and made reservations for this august online today on this hotel's website.... It says something on the confirmation page about a $17/day charge for parking at this hotel - is this correct??? Has anyone had to pay for parking when you are a guest staying at this hotel???

Yikes! No. I have stayed there before and wasn't charged for parking. Could it be valet parking? Maybe its a new policy. I'd call the hotel and ask about that.

It says $17/day for self park and $20/day for valet on the confirmation page - my dsis called the 1800 number and they said parking is complimentary, but I still don't understand why it would say that on our confirmation... I think we'll call the hotel directly tonight.

:confused3 :confused3 did you find out the answer?????were staying here in Sept. and would like to know too ! thanks.

I actually called last night--there is no parking fee--according to the hotel there is a glitch on the website and every doubletree hotel has that parking fee on the details of the hotel--she apologized profusely and said that indeed there is no parking fee, hope that helps, Ilisa

Wow, thanks so much for calling - I didn't end up calling last night because we had some people over... I'm so glad there isn't a fee - we got a great deal so I wasn't SO bothered if I had to pay to park, but it's good to know that it's free. I hope it turns out to be a good hotel, we booked, then I had my sister and parents book also for the same time!! If it's not good, guess who's going to be blamed!!!

and we loved it! Dh & I and our 3 boys (ages 12 yrs and twins age 9yrs), the staff was great, restaurant was very reasonably priced and pretty good, comp cont breakfast was great (this was included on special price from an online site). The pool was fun, not too big and no slide but it was wet! It is also very close to Downtown Disney which we loved, they say you could walk but not in that Aug heat & humidity. The extra room was perfect, the 2 (3) TV's were great, the kitchen table and sm kitchenette with microwave was a plus, for snacks at night like popcorn! We definately plan to stay there next time!!!
