Just two of us. I like the idea of more space, but don't know if it worth it with all of the larger families I expect would pick the suite hotels. Your experience? How are the beds at the Embassy or Doubletree. I already know I like the Sheraton beds. Thanks.

I haven't stayed at the Doubletree near the convention center. But, I know that it is new and I have stayed at other Doubletrees. The Doubletrees that I have stayed at, have really comfortable beds (at least the Doubletrees with the newer beds). They are definitely on a par with Sheratons beds.

The Embassy Suites South is a great hotel. The beds are really nice also. It is not walking distance to the park, but the breafast is amazing.

I would take Doubletree just for the beds and chocolate chip cookies!! Pillowtop mattresses and down comforters. They are changing all Doubletrees to those.

Oh the cookies are so yummy! I remember staying there once in high school with our drill team. We got extras and I can still remember them!!!

I also like the Embassy suites, but was happy at Doubletree.

The advantage to the Sheraton Park is that you CAN actually walk to the parks from there and save on parking/shuttles. It's a hike, but it's doable. You really wouldn't want to walk from the Embassy Suites.

Weve stayed at Embassy Suites Anaheim South and love with a capital L. Its the best hotel weve ever stayed in except 4 disney ofcourse

We just stayed at Embassy, and the beds are okay. The ART shuttle is a bit of a pain, we finally drove on the last day and that seemed easier. We could never get the timing right. One afternoon the shuttle driver was on break and wouldn't be back for 40 minutes at least so we walked. Not a bad walk, but it took about a half hour at a leisurely pace. The breakfast is nice. The extra space of a living room is nice too. We had 2 adults and a child.
Overall, not bad. We'd do it again if we got a good deal.

I haven't stayed at any but I LOVE the Sheraton Anaheim. They have enormous rooms, fabulous beds, delightful staff, and their own shuttle to DLR. I would imagine Park Sheraton is similar but I have no firsthand experience there.
