Double Trees suites-Downtown Disney

Can anyone give the good and bad about this resort. We are a group of 10 adults. We are looking for the best place to stay for such a large group. We will need two suites for this group. I would love to stay on site. The home away from home resorts are way out of our budget. Maybe 3 room as PC? Any ideas? We are going 05/28/04-06/06/04..

We stayed there last summer for three nights. It wasn't bad, but if I could stay on property that would be my choice. I liked the Wyndham Palace when we stayed there one night.

At the Doubletree Guest Suites, the beds were double beds and the sleeper sofa wasn't as good as the sleepers in the DVC resorts. It was a bit lumpy.

The resort is a bit run down, but my two guys liked the pool okay. We didn't use their bus service. We did like walking to DTD from the hotel, especially early in the AM (about 6AM).

The hotel breakfast buffet was pretty good and not too expensive.
