Double stroller

I would recommend checking out strollerswap on yahoo groups like the pp mentioned. I was really interested in the Jane Powertwin until there were a couple of complaints that the front seat was too small. I had a chance to check it out in the store, but I didn't have my kids with me at the time. It's a really nice stroller, but the front seat had me worrying my son would outgrow it too fast so I crossed that one off the list. I was also considering the Spider, I saw some one at Target with it and the babies looked very comfortable. Anyways I ended up getting the Valco Runabout Twin and I've been really happy. You should check out the Mountain Buggy since you can buy a carry cot for it which would be a lot better than a car seat. My kids really like to be next to each other and it's a better set up for us than a tandem. Oh and the only time I've felt a weight difference on my side by side in which I've had to push harder on one side it's when I have to walk on the sidewalks in my neighborhood, but that's only because half of the sidewalks are driveways and they're really slanted. Other than that I've never noticed a weight difference. Alright I'm done rambling. Good luck in your decision. I know I changed my mind about a hundred times.

I don't know where I read it but there was a reviewer about the spider duo stroller collapsing on itself when going up a curb so please be careful if you get that stroller. I thought (for a second) about that stroller as I wanted a stroller that a reversible option on the seat and that was one of the few doubles that does that. In the end I got the sit and stand plus which has a proper seat that reclines at the back as well as at the front (although the front seat does not recline that much) and the back seat can come off when your child is able to use the sit and stand portion. You can also click your car seat in the front. We just got back from disneyworld and it was great with our 3 month old and 2yr old - I would caution against getting too heavy a stroller if you are using the buses but if not then just go with what you like in the features. I was real happy to be able to use the car seat (and my daughter does not have a flat head!) so the baby could sleep while we ate in the restaurants and on the buses or wherever we were...if she were in a stroller she may (at the discretion of the restaurant) have been allowed in but would not have been allowed at all on the buses as the stroller would have to be collapsed on the bus. The Jane powertwin handles real nice but the lady I saw in the mall with it did complain about the lack of full recline on the front seat. Good luck on finding the right stroller! I'm waiting for my twin maclaren stroller and hoping to use that next year when the baby is older...as for our next trip we'll be using our sit and stand plus again...love it.
http://www.target.com/gp/detail.htm...-0758200?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000IHTD8A has the wrong photo as it doesn't show the sit/stand part and the parent tray but you can see the two seats part...we ordered from target and got the right stroller and not the one shown.

We have the mountain buggy urban double and LOVE it. My 3 year old is about 40 lbs and 40" tall and still fits well in it. My 7 month old has used it from day one as it has full recline. I used a full body support in it and she's always been comfortable. You can not really feel the weight difference and it pushes so easily. It's also very narrow and not as long as the Bob. It wouldn't be good for on and off buses though. My only complaint is the canopy. I have used a blanket to cover up the baby and just ordered an add on shade.

I looked at the Jane and my son did not fit in the front seat at all.

He was also pretty tall for the Maclaren.

We use a sit-n-stand for going to the mall or my single peg and my son stands on the foot pegs.
