For those of you who bring your own strollers to the parks... what have you found to be the best double stroller to use? DH and I have used a Maclaren Twin Triumph on two WDW trips and I have to get something else. The thing is just too cramped for my kids (3 and 1) and it's constantly squeaking and difficult to push. Does anyone have any experience with the Baby Jogger City Mini Double? I've read good reviews about it online but I had also read good reviews about the Maclaren Double before I bought that...so now I'm a little apprehensive and DH is tired of buying strollers. We started with the Joovy Caboose Ultralight, thinking DD would like having the option of sitting or standing and found it to be a pain in the neck. She wouldn't stay in the seat and didn't like that she couldn't recline when trying to take a nap. The Maclaren was our second Double Stroller purchase and we haven't even had it a year. It seems to get very heavy with 2 kids in it and can be difficult to push. It's also constantly squeaking and requires a lot of effort to fold/unfold. I'd like something that is relatively lightweight (for a double) and good for traveling to WDW... also something that will give my kids a little more space in between them so they can stick to their own 'side'. I don't do a lot of jogging or walking on different terrains so I don't think a jogging stroller is what I'm looking for. I was tempted to try the BOB Revolution but I really don't want to spend over $500 on a stroller that won't be used for jogging when that's what it's built for. Does anyone have any suggestions on which double stroller has worked for you?

Also, has anyone used Orlando Stroller Rentals? I'd love to hear any reviews of that service and if the stroller was in good/clean condition...

We recently bought a Baby Jogger Micro Double and LOVE it. Our younger two are older, so it's not a light load. Yet, the stroller is extremely easy to push. It can turn completely around on the spot (don't need extra turning radius room). It is one of the easiest strollers to fold and open. I highly recommend it!

I've heard great things about the citi mini double. I have a BOB Revolution and it's an awesome stroller. I would never take it to WDW though. Way too big and heavy, it doesn't fold compactly enough for the trams either. I have a Maclaren twin techno I'm taking this trip. The seats are narrow but it will mostly be used for my 2yo and 2mo. For my 5yo it is a tight squeeze. We don't have problems with our wheels but I think the techno has different wheels then the triumph.

We had the city mini double.....LOVED IT!!!!!!Only got rid of it because the boys stroller days are numbered and aren't planning anymore babies. We took it to Disney 2x - we flew and rented a car while there.....no issues. The fold is small and EASY - you should see the tiny box that the stroller ships in! Canopies are amazing and the seats were big enough for our tall 4 yr old at the time. The push is simple and one handed. Easy to turn. Narrow and very lightweight. Loved our double so much, that I got the single mini too!!!! LOL! I had a Valco Twin with air tires for our outdoor walks (we live in a mountainside community - lots of pushing up hill.) and I have to say that I loved the mini double more. I loved my Valco, but it was so limited as I really never wanted to take it anywhere - so I sold it to get the mini double. I have to agree with you on the mac double. I like my single quest and volo, but the double umbrellas were more of a pain than anything for us. Seriously nothing like the mini double in the double stroller department - easy for travel or in the car, and MUCH better handling than any other non-air tire double stroller. Can handle some rough terrain too.

Good Luck!
Val.

we have used the combi double stroller at most of the theme parks in California and have travelled out of the country using it as well. very easy to fold and light to travel with. no squeaking at all of the wheels. easy enough to maneuver. we also have the mountain buggy double which is way TOO heavy to travel with. i have a DD3 and DS5. it is getting tight for my DS5 but i think they're used to the stroller and don't mind being close to eachother. i would think the "closeness" is similar to the maclaren. we're planning on taking it to WDW this May as well. good luck!

City Mini Double!! We've taken ours to Disneyland, WDW, Boston, NYC and more. I cannot say enough good things about this stroller, well worth the money!

We have a combii twin sport and love it. Its very light and easy to push and pack up. Only complaint is the fact that its wide so its not great at the mall, but it was great for Disney, my friend even borrowed it for her trip and loved it also.

I just bought a City Classic Double - it's bigger than the mini and I slightly wish we had gone with the Mini (not the Micro though). I do LOVE it. Folds so easy and it pushes awesome. My two fit so well (4 and 18 months). They really have great strollers.

I actually meant to say the Techno..we have the gray double with the racing stripe on the shades. It was fine for us while our son was still very little (he's 1 year old now), but now that he knows his sister is right next to him he puts his foot on her side (they learn quick!)...lol. It's actually very funny to watch but my 3 yo DD doesn't like it and she tries to kick or elbow him. During our last trip to WDW I saw a LOT of jogging type strollers like the City Mini and the kids sat farther back in the seats and it seemed like there was more of a wall in between them as well. We need a divider LOL :-)

I've actually heard great reviews from people who used Orlando Stroller Rental (OSR). And they are highly recommended by Allears.

My best advice includes this: are you planning on using the stroller AT the airport (I'm assuming you are flying)? If not, look into renting from OSR. Also, if you are using it at the airport, will BOTH kids be in it, or would DD be ok walking? If that's the case, consider just taking a single for use at the airport and renting from OSR. Lastly, see if you can get in on a stroller swap here on the boards...I think they still have one somewhere on here.

As for which double to go with if you don't want to rent (and will be using a stroller at the airport for both kids)...no idea. We have the Sit-n-Stand (I have a 2.5 year old and watch a neighbors 8 month old) for going places. I don't anticipate using it once we have 2 kids to take to Disney, mainly for the reason of the bigger child riding on the back not being able to nap if they need to. When we have 2 kiddos to take to Disney, I will most likely be renting from OSR (we may actually look into renting a single Dec 2011 when we go).

Good luck!

The Phil and Teds Sport is our favorite. It can convert back to a single when your older one gets too big. I wouldn't trade mine for anything.

We sold our Maclaren Twin Techno, which I really didn't like. And we used that money + some to buy a Baby Jogger Double City Series. I LOVE the BJ, it's so comfy for the kids and easy to push!
