I'll go digging through PM's to see what I have. I had to clear out some stuff so hopefully I was using my brain when I did it and saved his info!

I don't have a # for him either, just went through everything. The email I have is his work one, I believe, but I just emailed him to confirm---so hopefully he is a check email on vacation kind of guy for at least 2 minutes and can respond, I will let you know if I hear anything.
I sent him the info you will be at OKW and your full name so he can have it tagged for you, in case he didn't have it.

I know he got the new stroller, the old one is listed as having shipped out today, so unless the tag got on the wrong box some how---the new stroller is out in action!!!

Hi we have all of our plans finalized (airplane tickets and reservations for hotels) for arrive in 2/22 and checking out in 3/8, we don´t have phone number in Disney World because we live outside of the US, but we will stay the first week at POP and the second at AKL and we will have a car, no problem to go to another resort to pick the stroller and to give it to another dis member, so I´m waiting for the confirmation in the list and then I will try to contact the previous dismember to arrange the swap to us. Thanks so much! And that's fantastic about the stroller. Although now I'll have to worry my kids will be the ones to dirty it up! LOL That blacktop at MK esp gets all over the stroller seats. Our Disney only strollers are almost black from it.

hey everyone the new stroller is out. I heard from YoMickey this AM.

**Delmar--he will be calling you to arrange swap or give you drop off info.

He said it is really an issue of a poor stroller design, the wheel in front will shake if you go too fast. He said he has been switching it from swivel to stationary depending on the crowd he is in. Everyone, please be aware of this and please do not force the stroller---I don't know if that will contribute to the wheel problem, but let's not find out.

Maybe when Yo gets back he can give some pointers about the stroller he may have realized, getting to see both of them.


If anyone joining wants to send any additional money towards shipping, I have paid an additional 45 beyond what I had hoped to pay for this swap, so I would be thrilled to get some of that back--it can be sent paypal to jkrieg21@msn.com ( be sure to put your disboards name and stroller swap in the notes so it can be credited to you) If anyone does not want to send money, that is ok too, maybe anyone using it for free can contribute something like wipes for the stroller or a snack for kids or whatever you would like.

The biggest thing I ask is everyone using the stroller please respect it. Tryt to keep it clean, if it gets dirty try to wipe it down, the pads do NOT come off to be machine washed...surface hand wash only. If you have trouble with the wheel, do NOT force it. If the swivel is swiveling wrong, then lock it and lift the back slightly to turn, don't leave it on swivel then force it opposite.

The last few swappers who had to use it with the swivel going haywire said if they let it do it's thing rather than fight it it was better than fighting it.

If both of you could please contact the people before/after you in the swap to arrange handoff. There is a gap between the 2 of you for now, hopefully that will get filled. If it does not please contact the resort to be sure they will hold it for you for the gap between you. I believe they will hold it up to 10 days as long as it is clearly noted who is picking it up and their arrival date.

It is free to join, but I ask if you change dates or change needs please let us know. We need to work together to make the swap run smoothly.

Hi everyone and welcome to the new swappers! I've been very busy the last few days and haven't had time to check in. I see that the new stroller made it and is out in action. That's great! I hope that all of you enjoy it as much as we did.

Wow, I've been so busy and it seems like forever since I've been on here. I am trying to catch up from the Disney trip so not much need for me to come here anymore - unfortunately.

I'm glad to hear the new stroller is in place, I hope it is working better for everyone. Hopefully being gentle and popping a wheelie when you're stuck will help!

Mayjay - glad to know I'm not the only one who forgot the bar and had to make a second trip! I had trouble with the wheel-popping thing when it was just me. My hubby had no issues with it though so he did it on the days he was with us. Luckily it's only at MK that it's an issue (primarily) but it was still a pain.

To all - I saw the note about using wipes to clean the stroller - just be careful about doing that because some wipes have something in them (alcohol maybe) that fades fabric. I wiped a pair of pants with a baby wipe one time and ended up with a big faded circle on my pants.

Delmar - I have now washed my shirts. Some held up perfectly, others held up enough to look like an old shirt and others look pretty bad. None faded and ran. It's more about the color coming completely off or the transfers cracking. It really depends on the transfer paper. We used various types of paper and obtained various results from transferring, wearing and washing. Problem is we didn't think to note which paper was which to know which brand holds up the best. Bummer.

Gotta run, writing a presentation that's due Tuesday and I just found out the presentation itself (in January) will be telecast live on the net. Yikes!

I am so excited for Thanksgiving. I love turkey dinner!!! So what is everyone doing? Are you cooking at home, or going somewhere?
I am cooking again this year, this will be my 3rd time having it at home.

What a hassle it became going from house to house, it made it so busy it wasn't enjoyable. Staying home is so much nicer, now.
We stay home for Christmas day now, too. Except last year, we went to Disney. I don't even want to do that again, I like being home Christmas day.

well DH has to be at work at 7am so we've got a rather hectic tonight/tomorrow. He wont' be home from work until 1am and then I need him to be with me at Meijer by 5:30am so he can pick out his sneakers and work shoes (buy 1 get 2nd for $1) and I need a pair of sneakers as does my 4yr too. Sooo, that sale starts at 6am and I want to be checking out right at 6am. Then I have to drive him to work. And then go home and bake the pumpkin pie I promised my oldest I would make. Then head back to DH's work before 1pm. Then we're going to eat there and then come home. Then it's mad cleaning and packing and organizing time. LOL

Hopefully early to bed and I'll be out of the house by 3 or 4am for BF shopping. I want to be in and out asap since I only need a couple items. DH has to be back at work at 2pm so if I'm quick I can still grab a nap after I get back.

Sounds like such fun huh?

If you go down to the creative boards the girl Amy_Mickey sells transfers. Hers are $2 per sheet and they are awesome. I've washed quite a few of them w/ no running at all and they still look brand new. I'm VERY impressed. My 4yr old keeps insisting on wearing his shirts so the shirts themselves are now stained (he seems to think his shirt is his napkin, grrrr) but the transfers look new!
