We have never been on a cruise, but that deal makes me want to book one!!!
We did a Disney cruise/land for our honeymoon in 2001. It was awesome. At the time we didn't have kids so we stayed away from all the kid areas, character greetings, the early dinners, etc. There were supposed to be 1000 kids on that ship and we never knew it. I can't recall one kid even in our dining (we ate at 8:30 at night to avoid having kids in there). Of course now it would be a different experience I'm sure since we'd have the little guys, but I'm sure it's just as grand. They have things for the kids to do and they give you a pager so that you can get adult time. They even have an adult only restaurant (which books up very quickly). We didn't get to do that last time but it was still okay, we enjoyed the other restaurants.
Oh how I wish!
Does anyone know if you already have your tickets and you find a deal to go down and stay onsite, can you still get the dining plan at that point? We are thinking of buying 10 day no expiration tickets so that we will have them but I would like to try the dining plan sometime as well. Of course if you stay offsite it wouldn't matter anyway, but if you get a deal onsite it would be nice to get a dining plan.
